Nick Bosa, Zen Master – Rams Get Garrett

Something like that. Bosa has been ethereal in his approach to rehabbing his torn up knee this time around. Ignoring social media (like we all should) and not rushing back into action like he did back in 2020. He has becomea big reader, gotten into meditation, and done things to quiet the external demands and implications of being ‘the man.’ The mental health aspect of all this is a pretty bug deal as he started last year on fire, getting a strip-sack of Sourdough Sam to seal the early win vs Seattle, and generally harassing the Rattler in the win over the Saints only to suffer a season-ending injury early in the Cards game.

He says he’ll be ready for the Rams game in Australia. Hope the rest of the team is also somewhere near healthy. If we can get through a season in relative health, I like our changes. I’m excited about this new more aggressive defense, and hopefully our offense can be more balanced. The run game was awful last year, and we still haven’t really found a backup that can gain consistency behind CMC.

This is of course predicated on the offensive line but don’t get me going on that . . .

whoa, rams trade for myles Garrett while giving up Jared Verse and 2027 1st at minimum

  2. Winder's avatar Winder says:

Of course the Fucking Rams did that kinda surprised he didn’t go to Seattle. Just gonna be more on our OL. our new RB’s are gonna have to block and be good at it.

So much for any Bosa effect ( is he hanging with Rodgers in Tibet ?Incense smelling caves?,)now with sack leader Myles Garrett coming on in.Rams have no issues getting rid of future picks to make a run they were close at last year! Their old but their bold gotta give them that in putting their chips all in.

Verse and a #1 pick plus more compensation a great return as well for Browns who’s continuing to stack young players..

    • Winder's avatar Winder says:

Pretty sure that #1 pick is gonna be in the high 20’s so they should also get another high pick. Our division is gonna be a monster.

not really sweatin’ this Garrett move. First of all, Verse is a fucking stud. And much younger. But I admit, they are getting the best pash rusher in the league. Still, it’s not like we had anyone to trade like Verse so we would never have been in on this deal anyway. We have bigger problems than worrying about the Rams. Our O-line still sucks. Garrett is probably gonna be like 3rd guy to get Purdy every play.

  5. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Huh. Wonder if the Niners were in the Garrett sweepstakes.

We need to build the O line even more desperately. Seattle lost a lot of talent, so it looks like the Rams are in the catbird seat as of now. Looooong way to go before this hits the pavement.

The NFL is just too predicated on injuries. Teams fly up and down the standings but we have maintained some form of stability. But . . . has our window shut?

If we could stay healthy for ONE YEAR I think we would be right there.

  6. Berger's avatar Berger says:

Bummer. I can’t believe the Rams got Garret. This is likethen49ersgeting Fred dean. Luckily, we didn’t have to give up Dwayne Board and the Rams had to give up Verse.

    • Winder's avatar Winder says:

This does kind of remind me of our division bright before we got Dean. We are back being the underdawgs to the Rams once again. Shanny is gonna have to pull out every thing he’s got. This is just like they got Donaldson back. Rubber hits the road at game 1.

This Garrett pulled off the Heisman/Super Bowl winner double – probably a rare feat. 65 Toss Power Trap!

This is fairly awesome. Loved Otis Taylor and the Chiefs growing up as a kid.

Teams are dumping players in trades today to save a ton on cap hits savings..

AJ Brown the latest though everyone knew he was going to be traded.Patriots gave up a 2028 1st rd pick and a 3rd in 2027 pretty steep for a 29 year old malcontent but Maye truly needs a WR1 and he’s reunited with Vabel once Diana Russini sealed the approval on the deal..

  11. Winder's avatar Winder says:

Nice to see Devers show a little patience

  12. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

A Matt Chapman sighting 2Run Homer number 2 well that’s one more then Tatis jr..

  13. blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

I thought Roupp was one of our good starters. Pfffttt!

  14. Macdog's avatar Macdog says:

Brew Crew hitting ropes off Roupp.

  15. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Well another ballgame over quickly as Roupp just gives up a 7 Run second inning, no help from the new guy in CF Cox’s jumps early without getting to the wall and butchers the play badly..

    • blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

Sooooooo, you’re saying these guys are not the Rockies were playing, right AK?

      • unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

The team that took 2 of 3? I’m sure the Rockies will rattle off 3-4 wins.

      • alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

No doubt about it Blade, Brew Crew constantly puts pressure on teams with their 60 steals,(Giants a laugh able dead last with 15) they don’t K much, even if they don’t hit HR’s,their consistently raking doubles , pitching top notch, solid BP ..Oh BTW Dirty Harry goes tomorrow night in his revenge game and pitching lights out as Brewers Manager/Coaches far superior than what the Giants can do..

  16. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Roupp-seee-daisy. We may be down 2 touchdowns pretty soon.

  17. blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

So, yesterday was an anomaly. Carry on . . .
