Game 5 – Seattle Seattle Seattle Seattle

Measuring stick game? Sure. Important? Sure. Purdy’s revenge? Yeah, I can see that. But as we all saw last year, we started out on fire and slowly cooled as the roster was decimated by injury. So far this year it’s the same. When healthy we can play with anyone. And frankly, the 3 best teams in the NFL are the Niners, Seahawks, and Rams.

The Chiefs remain the best team in the AFC, mainly by attrition. Buff can’t stop a JV team now. The Browns? Jags? Ravens? Maaaaybe. If Lamar can ever finish a playoff game.

Point being, it’s too early in the season to put too much importance on this game. Sure, it would put us in great standing, and it would give us bragging rights, but the wonks and haters will come screaming out of the walls should we lose. But with 12 games to go, way too much can happen between now and the playoffs.

Much healthier team for sure. Of importance though is Purdy’s 2-4 record vs a Mike McDonald-led defense. If we can run we can win. Sea’s run D is poor.

Niners 28 – Seattle 20.

Both teams hyper, playing tight. Saving grace is that it’s occurring before the 1st half is over. Niner coaches need to emphasize play hard, but smart for 2nd half.

Safe to say the Rivalry is alive and well, I hate these guys!!!

James should get some RB snaps, bigger back, runs really hard.

    Man. Terrible penalty.

Defense is doing phenomenal even with the fucking ejection.

it’s all in the offense to run better and throw quicker passes

oh man they can’t run out the clock! #93 swats it out and it’s a TD.

Sure did shut up that freaking crowd. Decibels went from 103db to under OSHA 85db standard.

My God Halton is a one man wrecking crew, stops the ball out then recovers it for the TD! Hes are Buckner replacement!!

16 yd quick out pass to JSN technically counts as “run.” Minus that one their running game is 15 carries for 43 yards.

    Really stupid decision from McDonald.

  12. blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

Green put on the “afterburners” to get that interception, last half dozen steps overtaking the receiver and grabbing the pass.

Too many pass plays, need to change the philosophy

  14. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Every good series is followed by a major fuckup. These pas plays are WAY too slow to develop. IF we are going to throw, we need to throw quick passes. RUN THE FUCKING BALL!!!!!!

  15. 12th Man's avatar 12th Man says:

Ok, run the damn ball Kyle.

  16. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

    Fuck. RUN THE GODDAMN BALL!!!

  17. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Jesus. Shanny playing right into their hands.

Shanny is losiong this game. All these turnovers and we give away opportunities.

  18. 12th Man's avatar 12th Man says:

Niners are passing 2 plays to 1 running play and urgently need to reverse that, its so obvious even the Seahawks did it.

Good god. THe power station has a strong pull.

Deebo got hurt on the return the play before, I think he might have a concussion. I also think he was down before the ball comes loose.

Super Bowl Win, Purdy Please
