Roster Moves Aplenty

Most notably being the signing of ex-Cal Bear safety Ashtyn Davis yesterday. A special teams standout and versatile safety/hybrid LB. Seems like a good fit for our revamped defense under Raheem Morris.

Also noteworthy is Larry Worth III, he’s another hybrid LB/safety who has impressed in camp and has signed a 3 year deal. The others are the revolving door of a 90-man roster. Sincere McCormick, Jermar jefferson, Jordan Mims, and a bunch of other guys have been released/signed/PUPed, whatevs. Here’s list.

In other news, AJ Brown got his wish to fly away fly from the Iggles and is now in New England. Now NE has a WR room full of grumbling. The Factory of Sadness has traded innumerable good players (goodbye Myles) for a boatload of picks but will they put them to any use? Or will they be the Oakland A’s of football and simply provide other teams with stars?

I don’t know, man. I just want this team to improve their line. The front office offensive philosophy seems to be running broken plays with Purdy getting his usual 1.5 seconds before all hell breaks loose and he’s on the run. And throw in a run game going nowhere as teams simply stack the line and short-circuit the runs.

I’m no GM but how fucking obvious is this? I’m not saying spend ALL your picks on the O line, but do more than day-3 fliers and UDFAs. Still need a center and guard depth.

As far as the Giants go, I’ll think about how to split this up. If possible.

My interest in the fucking Giants is waning pretty heavily as management doesn’t appear to give any fucks about the state of the team.

Buster should know a fuck-ton better than to dick around with Eldridge’s playing time, having a revolving door of turd outfielders falling out of the Sacto bus, and the whole pin the tail on the reliever thing.

Thankfully we are nowhere close to ever having a lead late in any games anymore, so there’s no need to develop a closer. But infielder (who knew?) Buddy Kennedy and his 76 MPH fastball sure looked good the other day.

Welcome to the clown-show, Buddy.

Niners should make a move for OG 330 lbs Joel Bitino a still solid 7 time Pro Bowler even in a supposed off year(Hey playing for the Browns everybody is except now former Browns Myles Garrett) he was still a force 686 offensive snaps , 1 penalty,2 sacks allowed a true leader and rates high as a pass protector (Purdy would love that) even at 34 he would be a baller at LG next to Williams and a great match in Shanny’s run schemes/throws..Wouldn’t really effect Carver, and Colby’s etc development learning more from this Veteran who’s the best FA OL men out there..

I think Sports Channel would be better off showing Giants minor league teams play one night a week instead of ML product. then they could go with the fast track (no commercials) full Giants replay you could speed watch through in no time at all. zzz

Both 12th Man and Berger are right . . . This is unfair to the (primarily) 49er fans. Just for myself, recognizing this, I am going to do my part and not post, albeit, monitor your blog, until a solution is provided, e.g., the ONLY perfect one I see is what 12th Man proposed – split this into 2 blogs . . . or, someone from the old Flap decides to carry on with a blog for baseball Flappers. Or, Flavor “saves us all” and restarts the Flap (lqtm).

Anyway, I think it’s a nod of respect to 12th Man, Berger, Kevin, AK, etc., to respect this place as mostly a football blog.
