I see this Season starting with lots of motion and ground attack.
Our OL is going to take time to adjust to the new system, however, a WCO should help them once Alex and the WRs get into the necessary rhythm.
Game 1, lots of Gore and Hunter, 9ers win a close one. I do expect Harbaugh to take some deep shots though, VD and Braylon will be a nice duo.

Catchable maybe? He always throws ball to high for easy picks! It’s not like they have tall receivers like a DK Metcalf. Oh I guess it’s easy to forget about Hurd at 6’4 but is never on the field..

They showed Moore’s hold on one replay. He clearly hooked the guy and pulled him down. He was beat clean to the outside.
Lance made some nice plays last night, but he doesn’t look anywhere near ready to take over an NFL team, not to me. He has a lot of work to do, but his inaccuracy is most concerning. That’s not something you can usually teach at the pro level; you either have it or you don’t. I hope I’m wrong.
Then again, JG still does not inspire confidence at all. He looks like exactly the same guy to me. For a top 5 contending team, that’s a problem. Hopefully, having all the OL starters in their will be the difference.
I was pleased with the consistent pass rush in yesterday’s game, and without Bosa or Ford in their. Their d-line should be a major strength this year. I was less impressed with the all of the penalties and other mistakes, but they mostly get a pass due to it being preseason. The drops by Aiyuk and Samuel were bad. Those guys need to get that shit sorted out fast.
I’m hoping Hasty makes the team. If it comes down to him of Gallman, I’d rather have Hasty, but that’s just me.
The drops are the most concerning thing to me. Those guys should know better.
Lance is adjusting to the speed of the pro game. He will get it. He is green as all get-out, and this was always going to be a work in progress for x amount of time, so he can learn and get a better sense of timing and velocity. He really needs to sit for this season I think to make the jump to pro ball success. Sure, bring him in for a few plays to rattle defenses and to show different looks, but he needs time to absorb and learn.
