News from the brass is that Trent Williams’ signing is imminent and all is well in Ninerland with the electromagnetic devastation raining down on the practice field. It’s a nothingburger. Sure.

The only other drama surrounding the team is the ungodly travel schedule. The Rams were so embarrassed by the 49ers taking over their stadium in recent years that they begged the NFL to schedule them an international home game against us. In fucking AUSTRALIA. A nice 32 hours of flight time to start the season.
Then we get to play in Mexico City? Woo hoo. Last time we did that the team caterers got the team Montezuma’s revenge. Do we get 2 more Thursday games? Does the front door of the stadium have a ‘kick me’ sign on it? Fuck these schedulers.

I’m very happy about the new direction on defense. Morris runs all kinds of different fronts and blitzes. We’ve been very reactive and when the pass rush isn’t working, we are very boring and susceptible to long drives.
Rams are a bunch of pussies it’s obvious the Niners OWN So Fi Stadium with droves of So Cal fans even root for the Niners! The NFL is talking about all players take a mandatory game off during the season when they go to an 18-game schedule. Their greed is boundless.
When I first started going to games regularly all tickets in the end zone were $5 a game and unless it was a Ram, Cowboy, or Raider game you could just about sit anywhere. And then we went ahead and won a SB.
Yep. $2.00 bus ride from San Mateo and $5.00 end zone seats. Those were the days.
I was at the 1980 Saints Montana comeback game and spent $5.00 for the ticket and watched the game on the 50 in upper reserved.
That Saint game was the start of everything.
