I see this Season starting with lots of motion and ground attack.
Our OL is going to take time to adjust to the new system, however, a WCO should help them once Alex and the WRs get into the necessary rhythm.
Game 1, lots of Gore and Hunter, 9ers win a close one. I do expect Harbaugh to take some deep shots though, VD and Braylon will be a nice duo.

Just for funzies, it looks like Trent Taylor is out with back spasms. Another training room trailer queen. He and Witherspoon look like personas non gratases come the end of the season. Making that 2017 draft look pretty bad.
Anyhow, Kendrick Bourne seems to have the blinking stop light version of COVID as he has has a positive test followed by 2 negatives, followed by another positive followed by yet another 2 negatives. One more negative and he’s cleared to go, but we’re waiting.
Deebo may or may not be back, and the rest look to come back after the break.
Unless we all of a sudden play lights out I doubt we come close to competing with these guys this week, even if Deebo and Bourne play. Witherspoon possibly has some value still left to him but I doubt we see Taylor next year. And if Hurd can’t make it through TC i would kick him to the curb also.

I would love for us to be able to get Wilson. We need someone who can throw a ball down the field. That would totally change the way defenses plan for us. Since it’s only the second week of Nov. it’s way to early for me to even think of the draft. I am already crazy enough with all the bullshit I’ve seen for the last 4 years. I will wait for the combine to happen and then try and wrap my head around it.
Bourne is cleared to play at least. Down to our 5th string RB I don’t think we can dominate the time of possession. Never know though.

RIP Paul Hornung. Just before my time, but all those old NFL Films shows had lots of his fottage with the Packers.
He was definitely Green Bay’s go to guy he was one tough SOB. To me he played in the NFL’s glory days. It’s a whole different game now. Sure players nowadays are faster, better conditioned stronger, and bigger, but with all the rule changes it’s turned into a game that no one from Hornung’s era would recognize.
