maybe. What used to be filled with excitement now gives way to morbid curiosity. Game day. What used to be a rivalry for the ages is but a meaningless division game between two also-rans.
Oh well, the question is, when will I start work on replacing that faulty power steering pump? My Su days seem to be getting a little more wide open.
Shit, at this point all I want to see is this team making adjustments. They have no RB depth and cut their backup RB and feel-good story Jarryd Hayne. Nice move.
Jesus. Hard to get that Trent Baalke isn’t catching heat for building a team with no depth. Reggie Bush is no way a reliable backup. Two plays, one IR stint already.
Don’t worry guys. We’ll be ok. Jed and Baalke are a big leap forward over john and Scott.
With the right HC a star pass rusher top NT and big time RT we’re right back in business
How about we start with baby steps, Rob? Like a starting RB with more qualifications than being undrafted and a year on the practice squad?
Well after gore
Hyde
Hunter and Bush and hayne sounded pretty good going in
I even liked what I saw from Gaskins yesterday. Not too bad from a guy who started the season on the PS
I need the rose colored glasses your wearing ROB!!!
Gaskins did nothing.
V.Davis to the Broncos
12th for a 4th RB practice squad guy Gaskins looked pretty good catching and was pretty scrappy imo. Pretty sure we add help at RB asap
Take it for what you will:

Liked what I saw fron Simpson too
Mixed bag Rob. He got free a number of times. 3 catches on 10 targets, 2 drops. I think Kap under threw him twice.
For a first game back it was decent.
Wow, Rob. Just wow. We could’ve used you here in town two years ago when a windstorm ruined half the roofs in town. I could see you around town, yelling, “But look!!!!! No smog!!!!!!!!”
Wow, the end of the VD era. Sad to see him go, but he’s clearly not the same guy he was in his prime and it was time for him to move on. There was a time when he was a great player for the Niners. Clearly the Broncos didn’t think all that much of him either, giving up just 2 6th round picks and getting a 7th rounder in return. lol
And a bag of Cheetos…
the VD trade is a great one for the Broncos. We’ll see if he was dogging it here shortly, but even if *this is who he is* he’s still better than Green or Daniels.
Denver is going as far as their defense takes them. VD is an enigma. He is nowhere near the talent that Jimmy Graham is, and certainly drops way too many balls but his speed is impressive for a guy his size.
I completely missed last night’s game. Was it all the defense for Denver? Was Manning OK?
Manning needs 12-15 yard targets. No reason to think VD can’t supply those for him. That being said we sure need draft picks.
New thread is up.
Chuck, Manning was very, very good. He hit his first long ball of the year amongst other achievements. Aaron Rodgers threw for 77 yards. Yes, the Denver D is that good. Their front 4 with or without blitizes was chasing him up and down, all around the whole game. When Rodgers did buy time with his feet, his receivers were blanketed.
