Playoff Game Day 2 – The Electric Boogaloo

All revved up, and too much time before game time! 16 hours and counting. I still feel pretty good about the Niners heading for their 6th appearance in the holiest of holies, SUPER BOWL XLVIII!!!!!  Not sure if I have the Roman numerals right. Not sure how I’ll sleep tonight. Got the same gang of friends coming over, so we’re going to let it ride. Beer, steaks, maybe kill the morning replacing the lower tranverse link in my daughter’s car.  Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

Other than that BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Super Bowl time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chad Hall? I missed that entirely. Whatever, Either guy doesn’t mean shit. Aj can fade away to palookaville.

  2. twinfan1's avatar twinfan1 says:

Flacco actually has been great in the postseson thus far. If it’s Niners/Ravens it will be the two QBs who been the best in the playoffs so far. Flacco had a very good postseason last year, too.

That may well be it for the Pats.

I gained some respect for Atlanta, as little as I knew about them coming into this, But in the end? Fuck ’em. Fuck Teflkon Mike and the spy LB that freed up VD allover the place,.

    SUPER BOWL, MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

I saw that #14 and was, huh? Who the fuck?

  6. twinfan1's avatar twinfan1 says:

That was no HOF series, however.

  7. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Ryan’s a solid QB. I like our chances against Flacco than Brady.

  8. bigflavor's avatar Flavor says:

I don’t give a single fuck who we play. Both teams are beatable. I’m just gonna sit back and bask as well as I can for this time of year.
We are back to our rightful place in the post season. Seeing Eddie D give the trophy to his sister?
    Priceless.

  9. Rab's avatar Rab says:

Brady is finished as an elite QB and NE is done as a top team. Next year, hello 9-7.

  10. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

I never expected NE to win. Yes, Brady is a great QB, but NE is soft. The Ravens are more like us: they inflict pain. The Pats aren’t a team that does well with that.

The Super Bowl is going to be one vicious, no holds barred, motherfucking rumble.

So Mr. And Mrs. Harbaugh who are you rooting for in the SB…Mr. H, “well you know Jim and John have always been competitive, even as Kids”. Mrs.H “well Johnny already has a ring, so…

Ray Lewis is a phony preaching son of a bitch. Fuck him and the God he worships.
I’d like to take a wet sack of mice to both of their faces…

  14. twinfan1's avatar twinfan1 says:

OMG. Where does this rabble come from ?

    • twinfan1's avatar twinfan1 says:

That was about 2Fold but… well. Disgusting.

Call it what you wish. But I just watched, “Cinderella” last night for the umpteenth time…
“A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes.”

My heart desires each and every syllable against Ray Lewis and his Ravens.
I’ll see them all in hell.
        Go Niners!!!

  15. twinfan1's avatar twinfan1 says:

And the Mumbler was his usual classless self.

  16. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Are you kidding me? I have TWO weeks to come up with new material for “Ray Ray” and his ” Purple Rain?”
God and I will fuck you up. This is the Goddamn motherfuckin’ Super Bowl. Sacred went out the window when we beat the Packers in the divisional round. “There Will Be Blood.” Hide the women and children.

Watch some Downtown Abbey and settle down. 😉

      • Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Close. I’m a HUGE PBS fan, but my favorite show is “Sherlock.” I think most know that I watch quite a bit of TV and the Big Screen, but that show, without a doubt, is atop my list. They’ve only produced 6 shows, but the audience deserves more. Much more.
        Benedict Cumberpatch? Winning.

  17. phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

12th Man is alone at the top of the heap with 9 wins. Alleykat, Nipper and Grumpy have 8. The rest of us have 7 or less winning calls. Man fucks up in the SB and Nip, Grump, Kat could ties him… As mentioned Twin and Shaman had the 4 point spread nailed

  18. twinfan1's avatar twinfan1 says:

Well, it will be closer still in 2 weeks… 3 or less. I have it 17-16 Niners but I’m hating how the kicker deal has been handled. It was way late before they brought in competitors. Anybody remember that guy who was working at a bar like a week before the Falcons signed him and he kicked 5 FGs or so to win a MNF game? Must have been 20-25 years ago. If he’s sober, get him.If he’s not, there’s two weeks to get him sober. What a story! Shaky codger drills 50 yarder to win it. They count on the bounce, don’t they?

  19. Spitblood's avatar Spitblood says:

I’m surprised the Ravens beat the Patriots in Foxborough. But in the second half, it was all Ravens. And that’s even with the wind blowing like crazy, affecting Flacco’s deep passes. The Patiots aren’t who I thought they were, and Ray Ray didn’t let ’em off the hook.

    • Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

Flacco has grown as a passer over the years, and is better than people realize. Their defense is basically our defense: as subtle as a punch in the face. The Pats are soft by comparison. This Super Bowl will be a fucking knife fight in a phone booth. Last man standing wins.

  20. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

IT’s all about the line. The Niners slowly took over winning the battle at the line. Balt is much stronger at the point of attack than NE. Ergo Balt’s win. Super Bowl? I give the edge to the Niners QB. Flacco is good. Kappy goes all the way. Both these teams are maulers up front but again, I gove the edge to the Niner QB.
