Game Day #3

Get out of Denver without any injuries, and I’ll be pleased. Also, let’s see if Peyton Manning can survive our pass rush, which may or may not include Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks.

Sure it’s preseason, but this should give us a little sense of where the offense is.

Jesus. At least they tried, but triple coverage.

  2. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Alex throws into TRIPLE coverage to Moss. Like I said, Alex to VD is all we have.
And “my guy” K. Hunter. I’ll say it again — he’ll be our leading rusher this year.
    Book it!

  3. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Boy. This is shakey at best.

  4. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

A delay of game coming out of a TO. Send in the firing squad.
    That’s fucking inexcusable.

  5. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Unreal. What the fuick are they doing? When doi they startt \the clock?

    • Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Chuck, I’ve been watching quite a few preseason games and that’s been a league-wide problem about when to start the game clock. These new refs don’t seem to have a clue. I couldn’t tell ya how many times I’ve seen players and coaches push up their arm palm up to signify resetting the clock. It’s a problem.

  6. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

Wow. Clock management needs some work there, too.

    And now a false start.

  7. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

    Wow. Same fucking play.

  8. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

3rd and 18 and Alex dumps it off to Dixon for 3 yds. Shocker.

  9. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

It seems like they started the play clock at the start of the timeout. They have 30 seconds to run a play . There wasn’t a minute that passed. Get used to the replacement refs fucking this shit up.

    This play calling is ludicrous.

  10. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

The Broncos look pretty damn good. I originally had SD winning the AFC West. Think I’ll have to change my mind. Having Peyton Manning as their QB doesn’t hurt.

  11. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

So much sloppy play, on offense AND defense. Jimbo cannot be happy.

Frederick P Soft running our guys

  13. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Fucking T. Brock has been beaten like a drum all preseason. He sucks Donkey Kong.

  14. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

I guess its best to get it out of the way now, but this is 2 games in a row where they’ve been spanked.

  15. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

Last week we were tied when the starters went out, so I don’t care about that one. But this shit…

First time since last August that we came out just not ready to play.

  16. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

Terrible fucking awful missed tackle by Brock.

  17. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

Denver quarterbacks have hardly been pressured or even hit after throwing today.

  18. phil fan's avatar philippinefan says:

Brock is cooked. Good news is we are going to play Chargers on Thurs

    • Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

I still think he makes the initial 53. We’ll carry 5 CBs, I think. BUT – if there is anyone better on the waiver wire, he could still be gone by GB. He has not helped his cause the last two weeks.

      • phil fan's avatar philippinefan says:

Right, dropping down the chart. Well this sucks but we play SD right away again this week. IF we come out like this AGAIN we’ll be in trouble. SF Softy-Niners

  19. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Yup. Brock was always the guy on the bubble. This is not helping the cause.

Well, there’s no reason to worry about how Alex has played- the running game and defense are a different matter. Harbaugh plays the preseason the way Singletary did the regular season. They’ll be fine.
