Hello Injuries, My Old Friend

Hmmm. The season is starting out just like the preseason. Everyone is getting hurt. Purdy looks to miss at least the next couple games, if not the Rams game. Kittle is out for 4 more than likely as well. Jason Bourne is back on the team. He’s a nice possession guy.

That is the one I’m hoping for. Jac Mones or not, the 49er should be able to go 2-1 in the next 3, if not run the table. No, nothing is easy in the NFL, but NO, AZ, and Jax are definitely in the bottom 1/4 of the league. Trevor Lawrence notwithstanding.

These games as usual come down to the line play. Can we give the Moaner enough time to complete passes? Can we keep HIM healthy? Getting to the 3rd option at QB would be big trouble. Mainly because we don’t currently have one. Kyle Juice-chick, come on down!

Can the defense pitch another solid game? AZ always worries me, but they are a train wreck heading toward a mining disaster. None of these teams should see 6 wins.

3-1 and then the Rams, if not 4-0 if the defense shines and the offense goes mistake free.

I just hope the season ends like the preseason. With everyone getting healthy for the playoff run.

If not, we have a great shot at improving the O line next draft!

Question, any suggestions to be able to see 9er games out of market? Streameast is down, thought about NFL+ but I’m out of market so I’m not sure if that would work or not. Any thoughts/suggestions?

If the Oline can’t protect Jones then I see the offense struggles the next few weeks. I have not seen enough of Jones to know how he handles the pass rush, if he is someone who just throws the ball away due to pressure then the Niners are in big trouble.

I’m on Hulu Plus now. But I’m local to the Bay Area so the Niners are part of the local channels. I mainly have it for the Giants and Warriors on whatever MSNBCABCDEF is now.

Take a look at Fubo. When we went through this about a year ago, they had a pretty comprehensive sports package but I’m not sure about out-of-market games.

No idea how much it costs.

I had NFL Sunday Ticket a few years ago and it was awesome. My first year I got it for under $100. Now it’s around $275 WITH YouTube. WIthout Youtube it’s almost $500. So, that’s fucked. If you have Youtube already, it’s still pricey.

I have a couple tech savvy friends that VPN through another country and hit a streaming service (like DAZN in England) that way. Not sure of the cost and all that but it ain’t nearly what NFL Sunday Ticket is. Bastards.

Here’s a great breakdown of the 49ers defense from Kyle Posey.

Yeah, hard to predict the offense with so many missing guys. My hope is we can run well and simply wear these bad teams down.

I’d give NO a big dose of Brian Robinson. See how that goes, and go from there.

I mean, Jones isn’t awful but he definitely throws picks when he gets rattled.

So, it’s on Shanny to get the run game going and give Jones some quick easy throws to get going.

If Williams isn’t practicing it ain’t an indicator of anything.

If he doesn’t play, we are in trouble. Burford was garbage at LT.

I don’t know why you’re worried about injuries. When they inevitably lose to these teams you’re underestimating that’ll be the excuse you’ll get to fall back on. And then you’ll blame the refs, too.

Listening to some of the sports analysts, I am not feeling very confident that the Niners can win, in fact I think they will be 1-4 over b the next 5 weeks. It was pointed out that Purdy was pressured a lot during the Seattle game. The offensive line looked terrible. IMO Mack Jones needs stars around him to be a good QB, just don’t see him doing well enough to win. I will go with 10-17 NO wins

If we can run, we will win.

The analysts are full of shit. Our defense will be able to keep the score low. Darnold and Seattle are a lot better than Rattler and the Saints.

They will come at us on defense so we will need to dink and dunk and hopefully we can burn em with something. But if our oline can give Jones a little time he does have a arm…we shall see.

I also heard Moody was picked up by the Bears and is on their practice squad

Of all the places to go, Chicago has to be about the worst destination.

They are ready to crucify any kicker that walks on to the field.

Their search for a kicker is almost as long as their search for a quarterback.

They ran Robbie Gould out of town and he was GOOD.

Trent Williams (knee), Jauan Jennings (shoulder), and Ben Bartch (knee) are all gonna play vs the Saints.

Quick passes. A lot of B Rob. I’d use CMC as a decoy and an outlet.

He’ll be fine. We just need to establish the run to open up the passing game.
