Do. There is no Try

Well, the 49ers have backed themselves into a corner this season. Injuries, bad coaching, bad schemes, bad special teams, bad parking at the stadium, bad karma, bad contract negotiations, take your pick.

Plenty of fodder for the grist mill, but we are at win-out or go home time. And of course this starts with a short week vs our rivals, the Lost Angels. Talk about mixed bag. They are a bigger conundrum than us. They got shellacked by the Cards, lost to the 2-win Bears, Packers, and Lions, while seemingly finding their way against the Vikings and Bills, the Buffalo game being a major shootout.

Us? Well, we got a nice win over those same but different Bears. Other than that, as we must, we all sit with baited breath for the injury report. Who plays? Greenlaw? Bosa? Williams? Guerendo?

Our earlier game was the one that very well could determine whether we sit on the outside of the playoffs. Like the Seattle game that we blew, we blew that Ram one as well. Fucking up the division games is a cardinal sin.

We may not make it, but take this one, and at least we will give the other division opponents pause.

Until Miami and Deetroit. Weeeeee!

I didn’t give you permission to use my tag line, pal.

Wow. That’s crazy. Deebo and Hargrave are both gone barring some kind of Deebo resurgence. Hargrave has been pretty much a wash.

We need to do some work this offseason regarding both lines anf that would free up $27 mill in cap space along with the $55 mill we already have.

They need to play every game like it is one and done. I don’t remember what I was watching, but one sport analyst says if the Niners play like they did against Da Bears, other teams are not going to want to play them in a playoff game

Well, the Bears suck. They just fired their OC, then their head coach and are floundering.

They do have that inexplicable win against LA though.

Funny thing is, they should have beaten the Commanders and the Packers and could have beaten the Vikings and Lions as well. Their only blowout losses were at the hands of the Cards and Patriots!

Talk about missed opportunities. They very well could be 8-5.

Much like us, they pissed away a bunch of games. Due to terrible decision-making by the coaching staff.

The baseball Giants have the 13th pick this year.

I hope the Niners can win out but not holding my breath. It would be nice to get some division wins though.

Yeah, this is our only chance of the playoffs, short of everyone cratering. We have 4 teams in front of us for that last WC spot in the Cards, Falcons, Rams, and Commandos.

I guess the good news is the Seahawks have the Packers and Vikings next. The Cards have the fricking Patriots and Panthers though so no help there.

Looks like Greenlaw may play. He was a full participant at practice yesterday.

Bosa maybe. Williams and Mustapha no.
