Game XIV – Purdy’s Homecoming

Let’s hope Brock shows out for his family and friends as he grew up about 20 miles fromGlendale and the giant cactus the Cards play in.

Get healthy and stay there. that is the name of the game. Got to keep stacking up the wins as we are in the driver’s seat.

Last I heard, Mooney AND Gravedigger have a chance to play. I’s keep their reps way down and try to get them healthy for the stretch run and playoffs.

These AZ games can turn wild at anytime. I still think out of all the teams in our division AZ hates us the most. I know both the Rams and Seahawks also hate us but IMO AZ takes it to another level. I used to go to their site and listen to what the players were saying.

The field is crap 💩, big chunks coming up, players are slipping and sliding

  5. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

    Fuck!!

  6. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

First McCaffery and now Purdy. This could be bad. it didn’t look too terrible but you never know.

  7. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Oh good. Kittle with the one-hander.

  8. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Really want to see us stop AZ on this drive. Our end-of-half defense has been bad all year.

  9. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

First TD, nobody near Deebo, there was no defender within 4 ft of CMC on that last TD. as does not appear to know who to defend on the Niners

  10. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

    Wow, not good

  11. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

    Super fucking lucky there.

  12. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Oh man what a lucky 🍀 break for the Niners!! That guy will not be doing returns for long if he keeps doing that!

  13. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Waiting for the Deebo run soon.

  14. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

So how come Colleges don’t produce more pass catching backs? I always loved watching Roger Craig. First back to have 1000 yrs passing and 1000 yards rushing.

  15. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Ground and Pound Arizona into submission!
Shit CMChas over 42 Fantasy points!!!
And now Deebo another TD from Purdy!!! Damm 4TD throws just give CMC &Purdy the co MVP’s

  16. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

And Cowgirls getting smashed 31-3 by Buffalo 🦬 it’s a great day for the Niners!

  17. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

It looks to me like the Cowboys are pretenders?

  18. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Love it. Now the Iggles needs to lose. They have no heart. Seattle takes ’em i think.

  19. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Just listened to the idiots on Fox Sports talk about how Dak just blew his shot at MVP against Buffalo. And Purdy threw 4 TDs and no picks, so the MVP should go to . . . McCaffery because ‘no one stands out at the QB position’.

    29 TDs, 7 picks. 3rd in yards.

  20. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Yeah. Irish. Frankly, Philly is looking pretty suspect as well. They have some decent wins, but Dallas beat the shit out of Philly and can’t do shit against a up-and-coming Buffalo. Dallas and Deetroit have had easy schedules.

Eagles HC Sirianni reminds me a lot of Jim Harbaugh in that his rah rah manly man in your face shit works pretty well, but when you get hit in the mouth and knocked back on your heels, it’s a much tougher game to play.

Dallas is the same. If they can get ahead, their pass rush can do damage, but if they fall behind, there’s no coming back on the back of Dak.

  21. Winder's avatar Winder says:

Purdy has been nothing short of amazing. I can see him getting the MVP award.

  22. NJ49ER's avatar NJ49ER says:

Dak is a hak and the ‘Boys can’t stop the run.

Can’t enjoy Jerruhs’ tears any more than I do now.

Philly is bringing Matt Patricia into the DC role in hopes of stopping the bleeding.

Can’t get too far ahead of myself but, there ain’t nothing better than Philly fans with nothing to thump their chests about.

Eagles eating crow would be awesome 😀

  23. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

He should, but today I’ve heard about 40 talking heads say why he shouldn’t win.

Mike Tirico just went on saying that 5 guys on the 49ers could be MVPs. Up to and including Trent Williams. That’s cute and all, but it completely negates the fact that other teams don’t have complementary players, and Purdy isn’t killing it most every game. I mean look how KC has faltered without Tyreek Hill. Or how shitty Dallas is, even with a talented offense.

Like I said earlier, the machinations these folks all take to discount what Purdy is doing in his career, 17-3 as a starter, 2-0 in the playoffs (fuck the injury game), and dominating games, is ludicrous. Lamar Jackson is now the next talking point for MVP.

This Baltimore game is gonna be real interesting come Christmas night. Very well could be the Super Bowl preview.

Time to hope for the competition to …..
