A Win is a Win is a Win

Kind of a weird game, but AZ games are always some kind of freak-show weird-ass game. It never really felt in doubt, despite a couple gigantic breaks in the form of two overturned fumbles. One of which was a TD the other way. We NEED Ray Ray back!!!!

And there were THREE huge scares when CMC went out with what looked like a knee injury, Purdy, who went under the blue tent with what was a stinger, and Nick Bosa who went out when a Cardinall rolled up on him after a play.

They all returned, and all seemed fine. But man, that was some scary shit. If this team can stay healthy, they are really looking like the best team in the league right now.

So, even though the defense gave up a ton of yards on the ground, and AZ was moving the ball pretty well, the 49ers played well enough on offense to keep AZ pretty far back in the rear view mirror. Purdy was his usual solid consistent self. 16/25, 242, 4 TDs. So, since Dak tripped over his dik with his 135, 1 pick performance, all the talk was why Brock shouldn’t be MVP. Even though as of now, he’s thrown 29 TDs with 7 picks and leads the league in just about every QB metric.

Now of course, Lamar Jackson is now the darling of the NFL with his 16/6 2,900 yards. And I heard at least 8 different guys go on and on why Purdy shouldn’t win this. Even Purdy thinks his bud McCaffrey should win it, which to me make me think Brock deserves it even more.

But whatevs. All these talking heads don’t seem to believe what they are seeing with their eyes. And that is that Purdy has played 21 NFL games, has 2 playoff wins, and is beating a shit-ton of good teams.

As long as we keep winning, keep underestimating Mr. Irrelevant, folks. We’ll take that shit al the way down Market St.

Got to question Philly’s defense on that TD play. No reason for the safety to be jumping the route or even being that close in. The safety comes up for no particular reason and leaves the corner one on one.

Hah! Thought you’d enjoy that ending!! I tell ya, Lock impressed me against the Niners last week. He looked good under pressure.

And the Eagles just can’t stop the run anymore. Seattle ame out in the 2nc half and just ran it down their throat.

        Absolutely Chuck.
We have the balance, (and the D) to contend with most of the anticipated artillery coming our way.

Gotta secure the #1 seed, and above all, pray for our guys to stay healthy.

Hate the cheap shots that inevitably come when opponents look to derail our momentum however.
Healthy teams on a roll in December tend to make the run.

Good place to be right now.

        One game at a time.

wonder what all the experts are gonna say now. Great outcome. I think Lock played better against us than Geno did. There is a chance we play them again in the playoffs.

The Rams and Seahawks might make it in. Weird ass season.

Seattle and LA might be better than Dallas and Philly. And Geno Smith was a healthy scratch. Bold call there.

Pete fucking Carroll drives me nuts, but his teams are never seemingly out of it. They retool, the draft well, they make smart moves like getting off RW, and they always seem to be banging at the door when the season ends. I think we’l see these guys again in the playoffs.

PFT has started the speculation of bringing Suh aboard with the DL injuries we’re dealing with.
Treating him as a lucky charm of sorts for the stretch run to the SB as he did with TB and Philly in recent years.
He’s an interior beast to say the least, even if his best years are behind him.
