Finally, Some Good News

Well, they dragged it out as long as they could, but the 49ers and Nick Bosa reached a deal that will give Bosa $170 million over 5 years, with a whopping $123 mill guaranteed.

Glad the front office finally got their collective heads out of each other’s asses and got this done.

Sure, it’s a gigantic deal that will be hard to work around next year, but the NFL is all about now.

Stay healthy, Nick.

Let’s get this shit STARTED!!!

Yeah getting BOSA locked up finally just had to get done! And deserved all of his 34.5 mil avg and passing Darnold’s contract was obviously what he wanted. They will ease him in against Steelers( 15-20 plays?) after just 1 practice and Friday is just a no pad day before hitting the road! God welcome back Nick stay healthy and unleash hell!!

Great news. This should be fun. Ray Ray is back also and if Moody can kick some field goals the Steeler game should really be a good one.

When TJ Watt held put till the 0 hour, he came in and kicked ass. Let’s hope Bosa hits the ground running. They SHOULD limit his plays, but we will see.

Yeah that would be the sensible thing to do but I believe he works out harder than he would if he were in Santa Clara. It will probably take a couple of days to get the timing down.

I’m glad to see they stopped with all the piddly-assed shit, and got a deal done!

Bosa is now signed for 6 years $188.4M or $31.4m per year average.
Aaron Donald is at $31.66m per year average.

It depends on how you look at it but that’s a lot of cheese no matter how you slice it.
Now we all hold our collect breath that he is in game shape and doesn’t get hurt early on.

Rookie Saints QB Jake Haener suspended for the first 6 games for violating the PED substance abuse policy. Sure that won’t sit well with his mother Julie Haener who is an anchor newscaster for local KTVU news in SF..

Well all the FO, Head coach etc, said this team is built to win NOW. how stupid would they all look if this didn’t get done. You have the defensive player of the year and you are suddenly going to say “oh we can win without him, he is not that important to the team.”

Deetroit’s offense looks as inept as ever. Their defense is doing pretty good. Really awful play calling.

They totally blew the call on a 3rd and 7 play yther Detroit stopped for 4th and 2 and instead took the 10 yard penalty. KC converts on 3rd and 17 and goes on to score their 1st TD.

KC’s guard moves early every pass play and is lined up a yard off the line. Plus KC just doesn’t get holding calls called on them.

    Deetroit springs to life!

  10. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

The Chris jones holdout becomes a bigger deal as Deetroit ended up wearing down the KC defense. KC’s WRs dropped 6 passes at my count.

Yeah mostly by Toney he flat out SUCKS! Man with Kelce out Mahomes had no receivers worth a Damm to throw 2.Good for Detroit and some weird Ballsy calls by the coach paid off..

  12. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

    Insane QB money as Joe Burrow signs a 5/275 ( yep that’s 55M I believe 219M fully guaranteed)passing now Herbert at 52.5!
Sure is nice the 49ers saving TONS of money 💰 with Purdy&Darnold shopping at the Dollar Store!Purdy still on rook contract &Darnold 1 year? Prove it cheap deal as back up…

  13. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Damn. By next year, Bosa’s deal will look small. Parsons is gonna get a king’s ransom.

Wonder what Purdy’s extension is gonna be in a couple years.

Gotta hope that the team fosters the kind of selflessness that Eddie engendered to allow some of these guys to work their deals to the advantage of the team.

Kittle and Williams already did it this year.

  14. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

And AA reworked his deal for an additional $11.75 mill in cap space.

After signing Bosa to the largest non-QB contract ever, the 49ers have $41.5M in cap space to begin the season. The most in the NFL.

Just saw Purdy’s brother Chubba play one down for Nebraska at QB. Tipped pass incomplete.

He’s 6’2″, 210. Little bro bigger than big bro.
