Game Day! Crazy 0-8 . . .

Not much to see here. This goes to  show what a great QB can do for a team. I thought Wentz was a reach but he’s panning out pretty well.

Other than that, this looks like loss #8. I still think we can get better down the stretch as we have a lot of home games, but for now, more of the same.

We may be witnessing the true rock bottom for quarterback play in 49er history. I’ve never seen it this bad or read about it being this bad. Unbelievable the absolute shit this franchise is fielding right now. The only upside I can come up with is that there’s nowhere to go but up.

    D can’t do much more.

  3. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

O can do no less . . . Unbelievable. Kilgore actually did his job but the guards do nothing.

Beathard makes a stupid decision there. He could have run for 10 and instead throws behind his TE.

    Hey!!! A touchdown!!

The D still doesn’t get any rest, but at least we scored.

    I’ll be a monkey’s uncle, a TD.

Brieda has some wheels. They should be trying to get him the ball in space.

Jesus. Play the ball, Witherspoon. He didn’t play the ball or the man.

I thought Hyde could catch passes.

Pathetic. And there’s your Niner replay.

I really thought we’d show improvement as we went along. We are getting worse. Sure there have been injuries, but we look totally outclassed and inept.

Well, Bill Walsh was 2-14 his first season.

Bringing up past glories doesn’t help much. The QB should stay put. Going back to Hoyer is not progress by anyone’s standards. Injuries cripple the effort today…….hope next week a more positive game emerges. It’s just a poor season and the only thing that makes sense at this point is developing the young players.

Beatherd is a rookie, no need to make him the scape goat, where as the O lone is horrible! I said The Who,e time ASmith was here, when the QB is running for his life you cannot evaluate him! Go get a QB in the draft and get depth at the OLine

0-16 is a possibility now. We will be signing linemen off the street this week. And DBs.

  17. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

I didn’t want him in there in the first place. He looks lost.

  18. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Yeah. I don’t know. The line was pass blocking better earlier too. It’s a mess now. Hopefully Brown and Staley come back.

Not looking like Joe will be much of an option with a fractured orbital bone.
The D is getting drained each week because the O can’t buy a 3rd down conversion to give them a blow.
Chalk it up to a season of evaluations, both on the field and in the FO.
    Trade deadline is Tuesday too.
Be nice if we could muster some buyers to add to the Pick List for April.
Chuck all the kids in there and see what develops.
Can’t expect much other than learning on the field.
We’ll be in need of more than a QB in April. Hopefully CJ shows improvement in his development to pass on the QB with Pick one.
I’d be going for other pieces in that puzzle, depending on the strengths of the Draft Class, which seem to lean toward Defense at this point, unless you buy the QB hype, which is always an easy sell.
    Protect the QB.
    Sack the QB.
    Simple enough 😀
