I see this Season starting with lots of motion and ground attack.
Our OL is going to take time to adjust to the new system, however, a WCO should help them once Alex and the WRs get into the necessary rhythm.
Game 1, lots of Gore and Hunter, 9ers win a close one. I do expect Harbaugh to take some deep shots though, VD and Braylon will be a nice duo.

I dunno about Cousins. We should be able to get him next year for his salary and not give up a huge pick this year. It is possible if we get this years 17th from Washington. I like that Garcon(sp) goes over the middle. I always liked him with the colts and he did get over 1000 yards last year. But he only scored 3 TD’s. That is a little worrisome. Anyway, he has endurance and is a proven threat on the field.
The price for Cousins is too high.
I don’t know. This is a pretty hefty expenditure to do. You’d think there would be more than Hoyer coming out of this.
Then again, who knows? Like I said earlier, actually using the cap money is much better than sitting on it.
Well we all know what sitting on cap money brought us. Losing and more losing. Baalke knew how to lose with all his bad moves. But at the same time he was under the cap!

I’ve been saying Hoyer for a while now, and it appears this is the deal. This doesn’t really change the situation regarding Kurt Cousins, but at least we have A quarterback.

Didn’t know it was that bad or what the deal is with him, but the dude sure can draft though.
Yeah he has got an eye for talent no question. Don’t know if this is due to booze but that is what was said by their former TE who works in the front office now and who’s name escapes what’s left of my wits.

Hoyer Sucks!!
Can’t believe they went with this chump even if it’s a stop gap. To bad Buffalo restructured a deal to keep Tyrod Taylor who would of been a lot better fit for the 49ers imo..
I don’t know a thing about Hoyer but I am guessing KS does. If he see’s something useful in him so be it. At least we aren’t starting Kap or Gabbert.
McDrinkle being ousted in Washington must be Jed’s fault.
Hoyer ain’t that bad, AK. And he’s certainly better than the current crop of nothing that we got.
Even still, Hoyer very well could be backing up Cousins here.
Hoyer is strickly a back-up. He’s been on 7 teams so far if I’m correct. That’s a back-ups journey. Never good enough to stick anywhere. Still just surviving and getting a job in this league is a positive for anyone.
Hoyer is going to be a one year starter or a back up. For that role he is a good signing. There is no possibility he is considered the long term solution.

GM Lynch is off to the races in FA. This is something Baalke had to do last year to try to save his ass, he just didn’t, and he is gone.
Who knows if all the new blood will pan out but what could be worse than last year?
Stories of happy players after getting a beating is a terrible thing and I don’t see that happening under Lynch and Shanny, those boys are serious about winning.
