I think it’s fairly safe to say that the unknown Rat that Teflon Mike, Aluminum Mike, Jimmy Hat, Crabs, St. Jim, and Jimmy Bag-a-Donuts, among another few hundred, all referenced in their time here is none other than one Paraage Marathe. He is the only constant among all the players in this charade ,aside from Young Jed Dicks-a-lot. And we all know Jed doesn’t get his hands near the dirt, lest an actual player or coach calls his lily white ass out. His latest fall guy is the GM.
Don’t get me wrong, I wanted the guy out last year, and I questioned his draft 2 years ago because he ignored the glaring holes on the team, but really, Trent (I never met a torn ACL I didn’t love) Baalke was ousted through the whisper campaign before Sunday’s game even started, leaving Chip Kelly twisting in the wind as a lame-duck coach. He of course got word after the game. But no matter. Jed babbled some nonsense after the game that i haven’t had the will to listen to yet, but yet again, this organization looks like a team being run by a 10 year old. Or an Orange-hued politician.
So once again, Jed and Paraag will scour the universe for Baalke’s replacement. I was guaranteeing that Tom Gamble would be the next GM, but that was before the season went total Cleveland Browns. Jed is saying that the GM will be from outside the organization, but really, who will they get? Someone with experience? Who would walk into this shit show? As I said earlier, Paraag is the problem. He has no football experience short of the disaster he’s presided over these last 16 years. He was Nolan’s red-flag guy. He’s been the contract guy, President, EVP, and whatever the fuck they want to call his spot. He was supposedly stripped of his powers past year, but he’s still the top dog calling the shots. He’s got Jed’s ear (and his balls, apparently), and he’s also the guy leaking things to Jason LaCanfora, Jay Glazer, and York family fave, Trent Dildo.
Take a gander at Marathe’s football experience before his tenure with the 49ers guy who makes all the football decisions:

What is funny is we now hear that Baalke is the one that nixed the Gase hire and put a stop to drafting Dak Prescott. True? Could be. Or it could be the latest pack of lies coming out of the asshole of this organization. I find it hard to believe that with the Gase hire that it came down to Baalke insisting on Tomsula as the DC. It must have come from Jed. What is ludicrous abut it is the timing of this. Now that they have their latest whipping boy, and pin every bad decision on him.
I have no idea who or what to believe, but the timing sure seems a bit convenient. The Gase story was apparently confirmed by Tim Kawakami a couple years ago, but who knows?
Forty Niners Forever 
All I know is that we need a break/get lucky, I don’t think Jed and Paarag can spot a good football mind. Somebody has to give them advice and point them in the right direction. Maybe the blind squirrel theory will be in play here. Believe me the fans will know right away if we are being sold a can of corn again. Time for baseball, that will ease much of 2016. Even my FF teams sucked for the most part this year.
I have a bit more faith Winder but not because of Jed or his sidekick but because the only GM vacancy is the Niners. Even the dynamic duo can’t screw that up and any solid GM has a great chance to recruit a decent coach.
As to what coach would want the Niners job, well think about it. New GM not a hold over, pick their own QB and back ups, awesome draft pick status, $80 mil for free agency and their own picks, some good young talent and good players should return from injuries as well as time to build it since even York can’t burn it down again in less than 3 years.
Not many guys get the chance to coach without existing conditions in place to have to compromise to.
During the Gase recruitment tour Baalke went on immediately after John Fox was relieved, it was Baalke making the hard sell in effort to get him aboard to salvage Kaep.
Reports I had seen suggested that Jed felt Gase was too young and Paraag/Jed wanted all remnants of Harbaugh’s Staff out the door.
Being what it is now, (hindsight), who eff’n cares anymore?
Jed and Paraag are still, 2 clueless non-football guys, conducting yet another epic World Tour of football guy replacement interviews.
Kinda like asking the Plumber about your electrical problems, to save a few bucks.
Negotiations had gotten as far as what Gase had in mind regarding a Staff.
Gase wanted to retain Fangio as his DC.
Suggestions were, Jed/Paraag said ‘No’, Fangio had to go, hence, Tomsula became the defacto last guy in the room to try to keep the Defense intact.
Baalke wanted Kaep to develop beyond what he received from GRo.
Baalke realized that the Offense was his achilles heel, that’s likely why Gase was his preferred candidate, as it likely was with Chip.
Paraag had issues with Kaep and Harbaugh.

Why does your Cap guy have so much face time with the football guys?

Gase says it was Baalke who pulled the rug out from under his hiring at the very last minute not Jed and he is still pissed about it. That’s horses mouth stuff NJ straight from Gase, not supposition, and Kawakami calls Baalke one of the fiercest back stabbers in NFL history that is pretty damning stuff right there.
Believe whatever floats your boat NJ, I know you have defended Baalke all the way through and like him as a Parcells guy, but evidence from the various parties themselves show Baalke for what he is and his draft success speaks for itself loud and clear.
He may be a football guy but not a good enough one to be a GM. He should go back to scouting.

Yes 12th I had read way back that Parcells recommended Baalke for the GM position.
What I’ve defended throughout all this crap was the need for the Yorks to stay the eff out the football Ops and provide more support on the football Ops side.
They removed all of them along the way as we know.
Baalke was the ONLY football guy left in that trio. Hence, my defense.

I get what you are saying about media sources, but these are not the same. The ones you talk of are anonymous, completely different when a national trusted guy says he was told from Gase and Kelly directly. That is naming names and open to denial, which hasn’t happened, ergo its truth not conjecture.
What hurts us in the end with any potential candidates is all the bad publicity that has circled this franchise since the York’s took Ownership.

12th the irony in all the Gase innuendo, for me anyway, is how quickly and fastidiously Baalke pursued Gase to lure him to SF in the first place.
It seems to me he got Gase comfortable with the idea of taking the job only to have, (what some reported), the 2 minions object to his age and desire to retain Fangio.
I would suggest, that left Baalke between a rock and hard place.
So, it stands to reason (IMO) that Baalke had to tell Gase the deal was off.
