I see this Season starting with lots of motion and ground attack.
Our OL is going to take time to adjust to the new system, however, a WCO should help them once Alex and the WRs get into the necessary rhythm.
Game 1, lots of Gore and Hunter, 9ers win a close one. I do expect Harbaugh to take some deep shots though, VD and Braylon will be a nice duo.

Another tale of 2 halves, this happens every game except the first and last week at arizona and its not just the D gets tired. 3rd qtr niners have scored 16 points in 10 games. That is coaching.
Saw an interesting comment that Kaep runs the initial scripted plays fairly well early, clueless after that.
Makes total sense to me 12th,
He’s a runner. Not a QB.
Even the TD to VMcD was thrown behind him.
He simply can’t lead a Receiver to open lanes with any consistency,
Rarely any success between the hashes either.
Defenses simply force him outside too often.
At this point? Who cares? Lose’m all and call it a season.
I’m sick of watching him panic and look for an escape route out the back door too.
Throw the eff’n ball away and stop losing yardage and taking sacks.
Can’t put this all on the O-Line anymore.

Not sure I buy that NJ, his first 3 series were a bust. Looking big picture at his play today I was struck by how much he didn’t run. Problem was the second half he missed the tight throws he made earlier. He clearly waits for his guy to come open before throwing 90% of the time and that window is closing when he does so its a rocket to beat the coverage or wide of the target. He did throw a couple of touch passes that were nice but overall the guy is flawed as a passer and it isn’t going to change.
Hyde showed up today, I think he felt the heat of being called a bust and his rope is running out.
McDonald, although not exactly reliable, is making some highlight reel plays, maybe he has finally turned the corner.
Reid likely gone for the season and ward concussion leaves the backfield mighty thin next week.

He’s simply a runner, ala Mike Vick IMO.
The mental game is just not catching up for him. Too indecisive for me.
Many of his throws are drilled and fall plays.
VMcD showed more consistency when Gabbert was throwing simply because of ball placement and touch I think.
Kaep is too consumed with his Politics apparently to take the ‘day job’ seriously.
Ponder could bridge what I hope will be a QB addition in this year’s Draft Class.
Defense is showing signs of settling down some as well.
We need ILB help, a #1 WR and a pass rusher to take the next step.
I’m also done with Eric Reid. Hope he’s not offered an extension at this point.
Better option could present itself in April with Jabrill Peppers, if we stick to our ways and continue to lose.
Plenty of young Defensive talent coming out. Just hope we wait on the QB Pick until other positions of need are addressed.
My early favorite is playing at WMU, QB Zach Terrell.
He’s throwing to my preferred WR Corey Davis.
Be nice to add them both IMO.
Hyde is the type of hard runner that will get himself injured too.
He isn’t as shifty as EzE IMO.
Hyde seems to invite contact and, doesn’t accelerate well.
Trying to deliver punishment as a RB simply puts a bullseye on his back.
Hopefully he’ll get away from that posture and concentrate on hitting the hole quicker.
Watch out for FSU RB Dalvin Cook. He and Kareem Hunt are on my radar also.
Hunt is playing in relative obscurity at that football mecca in Toledo 😀

Hyde hit the hole plenty quick at Ohio St. Urban Myer uses a downhill running scheme. I think it is Chip’s coaching. I’ve been calling for a downhill running style all year. I like running out of the spread but not if we are going to employ slow developing run plays. I think our biggest problem is Chip needs to learn how to scheme for the NFL. It’s like he is still in college and not accounting for the speed of the defense.
GB isn’t looking too stable these days either.

Green Bay is decimated with injuries to the defense. I would take McCarthy as our HC if he gets fired. With him at HC, Philben as OC and Rodgers at QB, GB’s offense was unstoppable.
Yeah, that kneel down takes a shitload of energy. Kappy may not be the answer but then again, what is the question? Should we stay the courser next year? Yet another miscast draft? A couple more ACL guys? This team has issues everywhere. Up to and including the front office. This team goes nowhere with Paraag, Baalke, and Co.
All we have is watching this current team play decent 1st halfs and then suck in the 2nd half.
I’m hoping this Draft will involve Baalke/Gamble and Chip Chuck.

If HC/GM can’t figure out what pieces need to be added they should at least be given more than 1 year to figure it out IMO.
Kaep isn’t showing any signs of mastering whatever it is Chip is attempting to do thus far.
Chip needs a QB before anything will fly on this Offense.
It’s a clusterphuk of confusion. Whether that’s on the roster or the Coaches I couldn’t say.
Play everyone we can during the final weeks, weed out those that don’t belong, replace them with pieces Chip prefers.

Chip damn near replaced the entire roster in Philly and showed little improvement.
Hard to say at this point, what it is he’s shopping for but, Baalke has his work cut out for him to figure it out in April.
What the York’s know regarding football can be put on a pinhead, with lots of pinhead left uncovered.

i love how the lead story at KTVU this mornings is “The Niners kept it close for a little while…” Two weeks in a row we are suppose to celebrate “keeping it close”? More needs to be focused on the 1andNiners and their inability to ever win games. It’s pretty hard to be an NFL team and lose every week. We are the second worst team in the league. Embarrassing.
Some guys were fooled right here on this blog. They had hope and they sure were wrong. Of course, they have disappeared as guys do when they are betrayed and disappointed.
Even coming in worst …….the Niners are second best. What a year.
We were thin coming in to the season. The decent players we had were hurt, and Gabbert sucked, Kappy sucks a little less. Ponder? Christ who knows?
Until Jed comes out of his hidey hole, we don’t know what is going on. The team is leaderless and rudderless. Nothing points to anything resembling sound decisions in the short term, let alone long term.
Send in Lisa D and slap that Jed around. He’ll start crying and his mommy will have to come from Ohio to pick up his shattered ego as we all wave goodbye at the airport……I mean good riddance! Okay I’m daydreaming again. Hey it doesn’t cost anything.
It’s the front office. There’s no plan in place. Once again we have no leaders, no direction, and no clue. Baalke has done nothing in his 6 years of drafts to restock the talent that has left the team.
He has drafted for defense for 6 years and has nothing to show for it. We are 32nd in points allowed. We have no quarterbacks signed for next year. We have lousy WRs. We are decent at RB. The line is semi-decent. Other than that, we have little to build with. Things CAN turn around fast, but with no overarching leadership, we are foundering.
Much like the Nolan/Sing years we have a front office disconnected from the team. The biggest reason the Harbaugh years even worked was because Scotty M had drafted so well with those high picks.
