Geepster Chryst, Superstar

And Ron The Hedgehog Jeremy. This is your offensive brain trust for the 2015 season. Trent the Terrible and Sit Jef Tweetsalot are rolling in to this upcoming season with a team that has some very good talent. A solid draft, something Baalke has been family good with, would even make the team stronger. The issues are a aeemingly misbegotten bunch of MFL rejects and on-house flu lies for coaches. The seeming joy the players felt after hearing that St Jim the Tyrant was replaced by the hedgehog was quickly dispelled when George Pattick Geepster was named OC. It looked as if it was simply a cot cutting move. Thing is, they were rebuffed by more than a few candidates. Kiffin, Chud, and Dhanny Jr to name a few. So, some of this was an issue of avoiding what appears to be a situation where a young owner is overshadowed by his GM. No head coach on his right mind comes in to s situation where the underlings have already been chosen. Same goes for OC. They did this backwards because they wanted to control the process. I’m not saying this won’t work, but at some point, Jed is going to have to stand up to Baalke and tell him to worry about personal and let a strong head coach coach. As it was under Harbaugh, Trent was threatened by Harbaugh’s success (I’d guess) and let it be known he was in charge. The infighting, instead of being quieted by the owner, was encouraged, or at least allowed to fester. They got what they want. What happens now will be very interesting. Everyone knows that Baalke is behind most of the shit that went on. This is his baby now. If this next season goes down the shitter, I wonder what Young Jed Tweetsalot will say.

I want a winner! I don’t give a damn about the coaches. Let Chuck do all the hand wringing and blood pressure explosions.

Nice to see Haley finally get the call to Canton.
    Loooong overdue.

For the kudos they got from the players for Tomsula, the players didn’t seem to like the Geepster hire. They still have to play come training camp, but this is a strange trip so far.

And I did like the Gamble hire.

I’m hoping they simplify the Offense some Chuck.
All the wasted motion and such, seems to have doomed us, in terms of play timing.
Boldin seemed to think Geep wasn’t a terrible option, we’ll see.

As many have noted, Seattle doesn’t do anything complicated on Offense and, they get things done.
It’ll be more reliant now on resurrecting our running game and playing Defense once again.
We need to find an efficient passing attack, one that utilizes the TE more couldn’t hurt.
Heck, Alex survived in KC without finding a WR for a TD all year.

Nolan did the same ting with the defense back in the day. It got to the point there they only slowed down themselves.

I’d be happy for them to find a Screen Game and add some WCO to this repertoire.
Papa’s got a brand new bag now –

Berger I’ve been cruising through the Draftee’s once again –
The OLB from Washington, Shaq Thompson is a pretty interesting kid.
    6’2″/224 – 4.53
Seems he was recruited as a S and, has experience as a RB.

Curious whether Baalke could be swayed to utilize him like Seattle does with Kam Chancellor?
Kid has amazing tackle production and runs very well.

    Seattle found Kam in RD5.
    Shaq likely goes top 20.
Might fit a BPA option if no one else tops Baalke’s list at 15?

All around excellent athlete from the looks of it.

  6. Nipper's avatar Nipper says:

That Nolan is going backwards. He’s now a position coach with someone. Atlanta gave him the boot at DC. I think he’s in charge of the linebackers with a new team.

  7. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Right you are. Teflon Mike is now San Diego’s LB coach, Nippy.

My problem with the Geepster is, is this the Peter Principle at work here?

Shitty QB coach? We’ll just kick you upstairs.

I don’t know. I still think this team has enough talent to make the playoffs,

How it plays out though remains a mystery. I like the Logan and Gamble hires. The rest are to be taken with many grains of salt. We did get some experienced defensive coaches, so I think that with the return of Bowman and Willis, and hopefully Aldon staying out of trouble, we should be good.

    The offensive side is loaded with ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

  8. And why all this love for the new QB coach, Logan? Here’s a guy who values mobility > accuracy in his quarterback. Seriously? That’s an asinine philosophy beyond belief. I guess throwing the ball won’t be a top priority for Kaepernick next year. Oh, that’s right — it won’t be. They’re just going to have Colin run hog-wild all the time. Jed already said as much.

I’m sure that’s going to work out just swell. Best-case scenario is that RG Knee loans Kap his used wheelchair which he’ll surely need come about Week 3. Good luck with that shit.

  9. snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

Niners really need to sign a serviceable backup QB. If Kap is seriously injured, they’re hosed …

  10. I have Tom Brady at 35/1 to score the first TD.

    Go Mr. President!

  11. How the hell wasn’t that a PF roughing the kicker?
Like Collinsworth clearly pointed out, hitting the plant foot is a 15, not 5 yd penalty.

This SB officiating crew is off to a scintillating start…

  12. At least thru one quarter the play on the field and commercials coincide…
    They both stink on ice!

  13. And that 2:00 drive led by @DangeRussWilson culminating in that game-tying TD pass only further goes to prove how bad SEA has us beat in the QB dept.

The dude is just flat-out money. I need to go re-watch “Swingers” for the 200th time. I’m pretty sure Wilson was money in that as well and didn’t even know it.

  14. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

Tom Brady ain’t no fucking Joe Montana, that much is clear. Two horrible interceptions. For all intents and purposes, this one is done.

  15. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

How much film does a team need to watch before it learns that it’s crucial to contain Russell Wilson if you want to beat Seattle?

  16. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

    Bye, bye Patriots.

  17. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

The good news is that the Seahawks have to pay Russell Wilson after this season. Hopefully, that puts a dent in their plans for the future. Did I mention that Brady isn’t fit to carry Joe Montana’s sweaty jockstrap?

  18. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

I’m here to eat CROW BABY! Your pretty boy choked on some cock on that play, Dennis! WhooooHooo0!

  19. That Darrell Bevell play call makes Greg Roman look like Bill Walsh.
WTF are you doing throwing the ball in that situation?

Seattle *deserved* to lose tonight on that play alone. Mooks.

    • Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

Not running Lynch there will go down in football history. Roman and Kaep are off the hook as far as I’m concerned. Great game!

  20. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

The look on on the pretty boy’s face is PRICELESS! Yeah baby! HE CHOKED!
