Trent the Terrible and Sit Jef Tweetsalot are rolling in to this upcoming season with a team that has some very good talent. A solid draft, something Baalke has been family good with, would even make the team stronger. The issues are a aeemingly misbegotten bunch of MFL rejects and on-house flu lies for coaches. The seeming joy the players felt after hearing that St Jim the Tyrant was replaced by the hedgehog was quickly dispelled when George Pattick Geepster was named OC. It looked as if it was simply a cot cutting move. Thing is, they were rebuffed by more than a few candidates. Kiffin, Chud, and Dhanny Jr to name a few. So, some of this was an issue of avoiding what appears to be a situation where a young owner is overshadowed by his GM. No head coach on his right mind comes in to s situation where the underlings have already been chosen. Same goes for OC. They did this backwards because they wanted to control the process. I’m not saying this won’t work, but at some point, Jed is going to have to stand up to Baalke and tell him to worry about personal and let a strong head coach coach. As it was under Harbaugh, Trent was threatened by Harbaugh’s success (I’d guess) and let it be known he was in charge. The infighting, instead of being quieted by the owner, was encouraged, or at least allowed to fester. They got what they want. What happens now will be very interesting. Everyone knows that Baalke is behind most of the shit that went on. This is his baby now. If this next season goes down the shitter, I wonder what Young Jed Tweetsalot will say.

I see this Season starting with lots of motion and ground attack.
Our OL is going to take time to adjust to the new system, however, a WCO should help them once Alex and the WRs get into the necessary rhythm.
Game 1, lots of Gore and Hunter, 9ers win a close one. I do expect Harbaugh to take some deep shots though, VD and Braylon will be a nice duo.

What a major crock of bullshit. Listening the all the experts who somehow know how to assemble a staff is amazing. Idiots all. Not being happy with the selections is one thing, saying a timeline makes a difference is for ignorance. People are being upset just to be upset. I guess it makes you all feel better. Harbaugh had much of his staff assembled at Stanford, of course it took him less time. Pull your heads out of your asses for crying out loud.

All in all, I’m OK with all the hires except OC. The problem I have with that hire isn’t that I think it is bad, it’s that I don’t know what to expect. If we start going RoBaugh/Singletary/Jumbo again I’ll be upset. Or if we go RoBaugh spread without knowing how to call plays for that offense like this last year, I’ll be upset. For me, I’ll have to wait and see before I know to happy or upset.

I don’t know if I’d give the coaching nod to Belichick . Carroll’s been pretty damn good and knows what he’s doing. It’s still hard for me to pick against Seattle, but I’ll be a huge Pats fan for a day. I hate Seattle that much.

All we need now is, for Dan Quinn to screw up their Coaching Staff, when he leaves next week for ATL.
Chuck, the gem hire of this Coaching Staff assembly tour, could go to Tomsula, for pulling Steve Logan back into the fold.
Everything I’ve uncovered on Logan suggests, he’s got a passion for the Offensive side of the game.
He also appears to be an excellent chalk-talk type of Coach, which should provide excellent support for Kaep.
Geep to OC may indeed be a head scratcher/fall back plan but, he will provide some semblance of continuity, if nothing else.
For all the bantering and blog brawling that’s gone on since Jim moved on, my concerns have been for the further development of the Offense and Kaep.
If that succeeds, we’ll all be happy.
Gamble returning, is a quiet, but well executed maneuver too I think.

Boldin says Geep has a great O mind and expects to do well. I have no idea what Geep can do cause I’ve yet to see. I’m with Berger, I’m not willing to trash the coaching staff without at least seeing what they intend to do.
If all it takes is name recognition to do well how come the same names keep rotating?
None of us know if any of these guys are good or not but some decide they are bums just based on not being a “known” commodity or famous name. Well here is a question, how did the well known coaches become well known? They got an opportunity and it worked out, so here is an opportunity for Geep et al right?

Moving Chryst away from QB Coach suggests they are looking for something more from Kaep?
Keeping Chryst as OC also keeps the terminology consistent.
Not a ‘reach’ or ‘overreaction’ by the looks of it.
I can say I’m pleasantly surprised with the info I’ve found on Steve Logan.
Tomsula was apparently the guy who brought him aboard too.
So, his hiring appears to have been done on the relationship they forged together in NFLE.
Time will tell where all of this will take us.
I’m going to remain optimistic, since there ain’t a damn thing I can do about it anyway.
Several coaches have ties to Tomsula NJ, which suggests that Tomsula is the one doing the hiring.
Many thought Tomsula’s shortcomings as HC were tied to his lack of connections in the NFL 12th.
I do think it’s a handicap of sorts but, he’s been an excellent DLine Coach.
We’ll see how he does.
By all accounts, the players that have spoken seem to appreciate what he brings to the table.

It was the idea that Baalke is doing all the coach hiring that is clearly false that I was going for there NJ.
Understood 12th, many made that assumption, not me.
Baalke was in Mobile for the Senior Bowl, Tomsula was working the phones doing his piece to assemble his Staff.
They seem to have had a pretty cohesive plan in place, to get this thing ironed out.
Seems as though Baalke recruited To Gamble while in Mobile also.
That could prove to be a pretty solid move going forward.
