Game Day #4

For real or not? Riding the accolades of last year, or living up to the preseason hype?

These questions, and more will be answered today, on As the Harbaugh Churns . . .

This SHOULD be a not-very-difficult game, but as we know, on any given Sunday.

Vikings up by ten on the Lions.

  2. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

We are dominating them on both sides of the LOS. No contest.

Kap with a handoff to Gore. Alex where is Alex

  4. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

Another long throw but too long.

    • Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

      And you’re surprsied?

      • Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

No. We have not spent enough time working on throwing long. Even Kaepernick’s ball to Moss would have been a TD if it was a yard longer. Moss had to go up and try to pluck it out of the crowd. Timing and accuracy are just a little off.

Alex completes ANOTHER 2 yd pass to Crabtree, but overthrows him on the deep ball?
    Shocking.

  6. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

Not even a decent punt by Lee. We’re doing our very best to let these bums hang around. I hope it does not cost us today.

  7. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

    15 yd PF coming…I think.

  8. phil fan's avatar philippinefan says:

    Come on D/ Jez…penalties

  9. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

Neither Sanchez nor Smith looks very good today.

  10. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

    Good play there by Aldon.

  11. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Sanchez if fucking horrible. Only a matter of time before they resort to Tebow. Not saying he’s the answer, but neither is Sanchez. They suck.

  12. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

That’s who #30 is, Landry. He SUCKS.

  13. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

We have to get VD out in the pattern. As good as he is as a blocker, you just cannot take your best receiver out of your passing game.

  14. rtfirefly's avatar rtfirefly says:

The only excitement for the Jets came when Tebow was playing QB. Then Rex put Sanchez back in and kept him in. It’s almost like he is handicapping the team to prepare Jets fans for the takeover.

  15. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

Bills are beating the patriots 14-7 near halftime.

  16. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

What kind of fucking BS call was that? Alex on an option and well allow the clock to run down to kick the FG?

    Fuck that!

  17. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

That was awful. Not even trying to get in the End Zone. If you’re going to run, let Kaep run it, otherwise throw the ball in the End Zone at least once.

  18. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Take a fucking shot at the end zone. Oh wait, I just remembered Alex Smith is our QB. Better to be safe than sorry.

    I fucking hate this team.

  19. Grumpy Guy's avatar Grumpy Guy says:

Got a shutout going here. So why do I feel so dissatisfied?

The offense left too many plays on the field. If we had executed better, this would be 21 or 24 to nothing.

Hopefully the Jets don’t come to life in the second half. It’s never good to let a team like this hang around in their own stadium. Momentum can shift too easily.

We are lacking a certain ‘killer instinct’ that we need to be a legitimate championship team. We need to work on that.

  20. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

If it is not blatantly obvious to one and all that Jim Harbaugh has zero faith in Alex Smith, you’re behind Stevie Wonder in line for a cornea transplant.
