I really would like to give credit to Crabtree, but goddamn, the Rams really need to…
    LEARN HOW TO TACKLE!

  2. Alleykat's avatar Alleykat says:

Crabs making a huge difference down the stretch.Predict big numbers out of him in playoffs.

  3. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Wow. Nice pass, Steven. What a gift there.

  4. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Hell of a run by Smith earlier as well. One more TD and this one will be scrub time . . .

  5. Flavor's avatar Flavor says:

Crabs gets credit for stepping up and making plays. The rams tackling sucks, that’s why I said they looked like high school players– but Crabs still has to make the plays and he did both times that the D tried to “tackle” him

  6. Flavor's avatar Flavor says:

Have the Niners had 2 recievers on the field at the sane time yet? I’ve missed a few plays but I haven’t seen Hastings out there yet

  7. phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

    VD caught one, good pocket

  8. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Nice play there. Got to block down here.

  9. phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

17-7 Niners. We lose this one? I don’t think so!

    • phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

VD hops up in the air to catch the ball, it bounces off his hands and smacks him in the chest. Catches rebound before being tackled. Better lucky than good?

  10. Flavor's avatar Flavor says:

Can VD catch a ball without jumping in the air? He does it all the time. It’s annoying, he loses a chance to run after catch a lot

MIller is nearly indispensable for the playoffs. Hope he ain’t hurt too bad.

Hey! These guys are reading my blog. Smith Brothers cough drops.

  13. Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Rams shitty tackling aside…I’m liking what I’m seeing today, and the past month for that matter, from Crabtree. He IS a goddamn motherfucking diva, but that sumbitch does has GREAT hands. He’s the Niners’ best receiver. I don’t care if Vernon Davis and his 15′ self-portrait tells me otherwise…

  14. phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

    LOL. Yeah the Smith Bros.

  15. Alleykat's avatar Alleykat says:

This game is well in hand to me at this point. All i want now is a DB to Fuckin clock Brandon The Asshole Lloyd, tried to get his autograph once in the 49ers player parking lot and he was the only Niner not to sign my Niner Jacket. The Punk had his so called posse with him and refused to acknowledge anyone.s existence

I see that Brett Swain and Timmeh Lincecum go to the same barber…

    Get a goddamn haircut!!!

    • phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

Brett Swain from San Diego State and he lives in Carlsbad. Local boy.

Yeah lose the hair man. I bet he’s a surfer too

      • Del Mar Dennis's avatar Del Mar Dennis says:

Phil, maybe it’s just me being jealous of those, like yourself, who have a great head of hair…but I honestly to think that an excessive set of hiar has NO place in professional sports. Call me old-fashioned, old-school, but I don’t think that’s what a professional should look like.

Maybe I’m too much like the late-great George Steinbrenner…he didn’t tolerate that shit either. But if memory serves me right — his methods worked OK for his Yankees…

      • phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

See my comment on Vince Lombardi below Denny. He modeled the Packers on the Yankees to look and act professionally being a New Yorker. Walsh too w/ the Niners. Pack was in Oakland airport for a game w/ Raiders and saw the Jets (who were playing Niners) stroll into the lobby in teeshirts and jeans said “Look at that! That’s exactly what we are not!”

  17. phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

Akers our other MVP 20-7 Niners…barley I think the Rams are heading for the mailbox

  18. phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

Clemens looks like Garcia, ya thinks?

  19. phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

Halftime. Reading a great book about Vince Lombardi “When Pride Still Mattered”. An ironic title given all the scams and ringers in the pro game the author sez. 5 championships in 9 years. Even the great Bill Walsh never did that.

Quote, Lombardi on Leadership: “The love that I am speaking of is charity. I am not speaking of detraction. You show me a man who belittles another and I will show you a man who is not a leader; or one who is not charitable, who has no respect for the dignity of another, is not loyal, and I will show you a man who is not a leader. ” pg. 405

End of sermon. Vince was a Catholic educated by the Jesuits, went to Fordham U in NY and to mass every day

What a season we’ve been having!

    • phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

Ironic says the author given that VL was an expert on ripping his players a new one. But he built them up too

    • Alleykat's avatar Alleykat says:

Phil..Lombardi probably had Brandon Lloyd in mind with that quote.Gutless Punk non team player.

      • phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

Definitely. Lombardi woulda cut that guy quick. Or never signed him. He was worried about people not taking responsibility, of not being disciplined, etc etc. He was a traditional kinda guy…

    • phil fan's avatar phil fan says:

Sorry, over here you find a book for 50 cents about football you buy it and read it. Got another one on Papa Bear Halas but later for that

Going back to the old avatar to help St. Tebow get some mojo going against the Chiefs…
