Playoffs? Playoffs?!?!?!?!? Are You Kidding Me?

All these years seeing that clip and I just realized that it was after the Niners beat the Colts way back when.

Anyhow, I hate all these teams in the playoffs. Seattle and the Rams are right out. Fuck NE and FUCK Denver.

That being said, I guess I could stomach Denver winning. Mainly because they aren’t in our division, and they don’t have 5 Super Bowl wins, and Bo Nix was pretty fricking outstanding. My wife’s cousin is a huge Broncos fan and she and her husband came out here for the Super Bowl 50 pre-game festivities. It would be pretty fucking weird for Denver to win 2 Super Bowls in the mudflats 10 years apart.

Dislike all these teams too, although, sort of neutral on Seattle winning. Maybe because I live in Washington now??? Don’t get me wrong, if it comes down to the Niners and Sea Chickens – I want my Niners to win every day and twice on Sunday.

Weird, but all the time I spent in Colorado – I dislike the Broncos more than the Rams. I think that is due to Elway. He is an insufferable drunk and the stories I have heard about him, come from reliable sources. Consequently, I take great joy in remembering the 49ers and Montana destroying them in the SB.

New England? Unfuckingbelievable that they dominated for almost 2 decades, particularly within their own division, which rarely gave them a fight. I actually think that’s the main reason they seemed to be in every SB annually, i.e., their division foes were so lame.

I’ll root for Darnold cause he sees ghosts like I do every day in Brooklyn. That’s all that’s left. And I despise the AFC teams. Today I had to google who the SF Giants manager is…

Just a little curious about the hate for New England. Totally different team from the Belichick/Brady years, and I understood why many people hated that team. So, once we hated a team, we always hate that team? Trying to think of examples saying otherwise. I’ve hated the Dodgers since I was 7 years old, and that has never abated, but there are some other organizations I tended to strongly dislike but not anymore…. I’m sorry Nix got hurt, that game would’ve been a showcase of 2 good young QBs duking it out….

I actually really liked the Patriots when Parcells was the coach and Bledsoe was the QB. Even rooted for them against the Packers in SB XXX1 (I think???), but I vividly recall them being out matched by the Packers, where Bledsoe threw 3 (?), maybe 4 interceptions.

Parcells told Kraft to more or less fuck off and left, with this quote to the media, “They want you to cook the dinner; at least they ought to let you shop for some of the groceries. Okay?”

The league average for hamstring injuries is 5.3 per season. The 49ers had 18.

Lynch says they are always looking into everything except that the guy who is in charge of all aspects of player health is his buddy from Denver, who has been with the Niners since 2019 and keeps getting promoted every year or 2 until he is now the top guy in charge of the whole enchilada.

His name is Dustin Perry. Great job Dustin.

His name needs to get around.

Damn. John Brodie died at 90.

Hell of a QB back in the day. His number blow away Joe Namath’s but he never made it to the Super Bowl. Spent a lot of time on a lot of bad Niner teams in the 60s.

Yeah that’s a bummer about John Brodie he was tough as nails at QB .He was the 1st guy I followed growing up and if it wasn’t for the freaking Cowboys ( especially that choke job game in 72 they lost 30-28 thank you Preston Riley and a young Rodger Staubach pulling it out late)they might have been in there 1st SB game! Dick Nolan was cursed against them losing 3 straight games 70-72!
