Don’t know if you guys saw the end of the last thread, but Marc (NJ 49er) Hadzimichalis passed away last weekend. We traded emails over the past 15 years, and he was a true Niner die-hard and friend who wore his emotions and his loyalty on his sleeve, literally, with his Niner tattoos. He was a fan, a father, a husband, and a good guy. And my son has one of his t-shirts that he made.
Wish I could post the pic he sent to me of him skydiving while showing off his latest Niner tattoo but he did send me pics from 2016 when the Niners visited the Meadowlands and he got to hang out with Matt Maiocco and Matt Barrows in the parking lot. Like I said, he was very passionate about the Niners.
PS. Totally digging that his son is sporting a Rathman jersey.
RIP NJ49er. You will be missed.

Thanks chuck that was a nice obit and you are right he will be missed. We used to not always see eye to eye though. Really the only issue between us was that he liked Trent Baalke and I hated him we used to go round and round about that one. Anyway I will miss him and his draft listings. I also have one of his t-shirts.
Sorry to hear that, Chuck, he seemed to be way too young. Don’t take any of this thing we call life for granted, folks. It’s all too brief and transient as it is. Rest in peace, Hadzimichalis.
Marc became a good friend and a legit as they come 49er fan. I always looked forward to his draft takes and his various thoughts on the 49ers, I will miss him very much.
Pisser is I’m sure he was really looking forward to this upcoming Niners/Giants game.
I’ll be raising a toast to NJ at some point during the game.

Unbelievable. I am truly sad. I have spent hours and hours on the phone with him. I felt that he was a good friend. We would disagree on one of these blogs and then talk later in the week and laugh about it. I love that guy. He used to send me CDs of blues music. I cut some discs for him too. RIP Marc. May God bless you and your family.
