Let the Healing Commence

It’s nice to have an extra few days after the stirring victory over the Rams, but as we all know, there’s no rest in the NFL. Till the bye. Which is week 14. In other words, the 12th of never. Not soon anyway. I don’t even want to post the IR/Injury/Doubtful list as it is huge.

But based on the most recent updates (as of October 6, 2025), here’s the San Francisco 49ers injury report (eeeeek):

Injured Reserve (IR)

  • Nick Bosa (DE): Torn ACL, out for the season.
  • George Kittle (TE): Hamstring strain, likely out until Week 7.
  • Ben Bartch (OG): Ankle injury.
  • Spencer Burford (OL): Knee injury.
  • Kevin Givens (DL): Pectoral injury.
  • Jacob Cowing (WR): Hamstring injury.
  • Trent Taylor (WR): Undisclosed injury.
  • Jakob Robinson (CB): Forearm injury.
  • Tre Tomlinson (CB): Undisclosed injury.
  • Patrick Taylor Jr. (RB): Shoulder injury.
  • Tarron Jackson (DE): Undisclosed injury.
  • Lucas Krull (TE): Foot, Eligible to return Week 9.
  • Ben Bartch (T): Ankle, Placed on IR September 17.
  • Kalia Davis (DT): Hand, Requires surgery.
  • Robert Beal Jr. (DE): Ankle.

Physically Unable to Perform (PUP)

Doubtful for Week 6

  • Yetur Gross-Matos (DE): Hamstring injury, likely to miss some time.

Questionable for Week 6

  • Alfred Collins (DT): Knee sprain.
  • C.J. West (DT): Thumb injury.
  • Upton Stout (CB): Ankle injury, not a high ankle sprain.

Out for Week 6

  • Brock Purdy (QB): Toe injury, week-to-week.
  • Jauan Jennings (WR): Ankle and Shoulder.
  • Ricky Pearsall (WR): Knee.
  • Jordan Watkins (WR): Calf.

Other Notes

  • Mac Jones started at quarterback in Week 5 due to Purdy’s injury.
  • George Kittle (TE) is expected to return around Week 7.
  • Malik Mustapha (S) is nearing a return from ACL injury and his practice window could open as early as this week.

The butt fumbler turns into a possible butt Buddy. What a maroon.

    Interesting observation.

Shanahan’s dog house is large and easy to get into apparently.

Not sure what Saleh has to say about this, but yeah, the stuff I saw in preseason looked fine.

Saleh says Martin has to beat out a ST player in order to be up on game day.
Martin would be good in the big nickel role Tre Brown has had snaps at IMO. He’s fast and very hard hitting, he can blitz too.
Saleh is doing a fantastic job so far and I don’t think Shanahan has anything to do with Martin riding the pine so far. His time will come, too much raw talent to just sit on the bench.

The guy Sanchez was in a fight with is 69 years old and very hard of hearing. The old guy got stabbed through the cheek and into his tongue, allegedly by Sanchez who somehow was also stabbed.

    Both men were hospitalized.

What a douche Sanchez is for “fighting” a 69 year old man, coward.

And just how did Sanchez manage to stab the senior citizen? Concealed weapon of his own? Just an unbelievable chain of events involving a parking spot? Classless and unfortunately dangerous.

Just in case yer interested, Patrick Willis is going to be on the Manning secondary broadcast of the Jax Chiefs game tonight.

    Never really watched that.

Shanahan should watch Andy Reid’s goal line offense. He’s throwing and going misdirection every play.

Shanahan really needs to finally figure out that we are not blowing anyone off the line to be able to run up the middle.

He had a clue with Deebo and the jet sweeps but he seems to have totally forgotten about that.

Kinda cool listening to the Mannings as they offer a lot more insight into plays and what’s going on downfield but they ignore the game for a good portion.

Fucking KC making Jax look silly.

We need a fucking O line. This is ridiculous.

  8. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Wow. I watched the game when KC had 2nd and goal. Missed the 99 yard pick 6.

    KC 2-3 Balt 1-4. Crazy.
