More like burnt, tired, and need a vacation from my vacation.
Anyhow, this season looks like it is unravelling before it even starts. Didn’t pay any attention to much when we were gone (I did read the blog when the game ended) but it sure sounded like the injury bug turned into COVID after that win over the Raiders.
Do we have to play this last preseason game? Can we just trot out ALL 3rd stringers? I know guys need work, but we are going through players like kleenex at a porn theater.
Trust me, I used to live down the street from the Palm Theater in San Mateo. I got a great laugh when they decided to become a porn house. Friend of mine managed the place for a summer job. Good times!
But as usual I digress.
Are we gonna try to sneak Kiner thru waivers and re-sign him to the taxi squad? I need to watch the game and see the (injuries) results.

Watched the DC/Cincy game, mainly to see Deebo in enemy colors, and I came away impressed with the Cincy WR Mitchell Tinsley.
I’d be watching the waiver process closely in SF if he gets into the pool.
Speaking of Tinsley, just got tickets to see Tinsley Ellis! Front row, not far from the middle!
Tinsley does a great show as you know.

The D is light years better than last year. Just for the fact that Saleh shows different fronts all the time. Drops out, doesn’t drop out. LBs up, LBs back. Press man. Zone.
Last couple years it was 4-3 every down, every series, every game.
Bradley looked better. Tonges played well. Lucas played well. Red zone? Moody?
Work in progress. Klay Kubiak called the plays. Liked some of the chances they took, but they missed a too many opportunities.
Still and all, Moody made 4 of 5 FGs including the pressure 59 yarder.
Preseason or no, that meant something. To him and the team.

I watched Moss and Colby in the game. I thought both did OK, but PFF gave grades in the 30’s for both of them.
Moody went 3 of 5 at the last practice, missed wide left then doinked the right upright. Unbelievable they are still keeping him. It’s a near certainty he does it in games.
CB Tre Brown put on IR with a heel injury. And the beat goes on.
Injured rookie RB Kiner is back with the Niners, I didn’t see his designation but apparently it was a bad high ankle sprain, they can linger. Maybe they will red shirt him.
Yeah, I thought they’d get him back. I thought the NFL penalized the hip-drop tackle. That’s how he got hurt.
And we just picked up Brian Robinson from the Commandos for a 6th round pick in 2026.
that is a good pickup. I hope he can pass protect.
The line wasn’t horrible, but for Prince’s yellow rain, but it wasn’t great either.
Holding out everyone is a good idea. Just hope Puni is ready and TW doesn’t get hurt walking onto the field.
Breaking News the 49ers acquired RB Brian Robinson from the Commander for a 6th rd pick in 2026..A solid move considering the RB’s situation is questionable with CMC and Guerendo injury history along with James ? a rook..that might not see much playing time under Shanahan non trust of rookies..
Like the Robinson pick up. Like Deebo, he comes at a cheap price. And sice we can make decent guys look great, it looks like a steal.
Just hope (againandagainandagain) that Shanahan fucking rotates RBs in and out of games.

The greed of owners not putting grass on the field is pretty much an abomination. And we play there this season.
The ONLY good thing Joe Thomas did for the team was to replace the concrete Stick ‘field’ with grass for OJ.
