Wait Till 2030 ! ! !

Ho hum. The team that cannot stop shooting itself in the feet has taken to using a rocket launcher to go after their lower appendages.

In one corner we have the San Francisco 49ers. A team so tantalizingly close to winning it all that they very well could be 8-0 in Super Bowls but for 3 fucking plays. They have flip-flopped from Ebenezer Scrooge McFuck to Donald Trump Jr. spending money on a coke-fueled hooker spree.

In the other corner we have Mr. Irrelevant QB Brock Purdy. You know, the gee-golly-praise-Jesus-all-I-need-is-a-glass-of milk-and-I’ll-be-fine guy.

Thing is, both sides are right. Both sides are wrong. But when you talk about trading Purdy to the Giants and signing Aaron Rodgers (20 years too fucking late) then you are just being retarded.

The 49ers of course are purging like Karen Carpenter after eating at Mickey D’s.

Mr. Gee-willickers Altar Boy has all of a sudden become “I need Dak Prescott mad money respect”. Did Jesus say “Go for the green!!”?

The media goes into hyper-drive spinning tales of trades, low-ball salaries, moon-shot salaries, and just about everything in between.

Thing is, we’ve all seen this before with Deebo, Bosa, Williams, and Aiyuk. And it went terrible with all of them. So, naturally the 49ers think this is the best strategy with their once and future QB.

Give him $225/4 years and get the fuck on with it. His number will end up somewhere around there, and the longer they dick around, the longer this season gets fucked with.

The 49ers cannot reset the QB market value. Purdy has proven his worth by winning a lot of playoff games and overcoming major adversity. All the while playing for peanuts.

Still, Purdy fell short last year a a few different ways. Mainly failing pretty miserably in the poor-weather games. Then again, the good weather games were fucked up by the shitty defense, the awful special teams, and the atrocious red zone play calling by Shanny.

Franchising Brock would save the 49ers a ton at $40 mill. But do they really want to do that? Alienate the guy they think is the next coming of Joe? It may end up being the best of both worlds. Make him prove himself yet again while loading up for next year.

All this talk is predicated on the team drafting WAY over their heads this year. Fuck this draft up and it won’t matter if Purdy is here or not.

Mac has been a starter and, of course, was thought to be the guy Kyle was gonna grab, before he decided to purge the Draft account of multiple picks for Lance.

FTAG is the stick, Mac could be the carrot (threat).

Whether agent or Purdy himself, our FO has not had a very good track record of late in closing new deals without significant drama.

I’d put a drop dead date on the table to have a deal before the Draft or FTAG is applied for the ’25 season. Negotiations over.

      Yass!

Maximum $50m per year and honestly I think $45m is the right number. Structure the deal for 5 years on paper (and in the headlines) but in reality be a 2 year with a team decision 3rd year.

Do it or FT him next year.

Not going to miss him one bit. Couldn’t block for shit. Luke Farrell was signed for that specific reason I’m sure.

9ers laying in the weeds thus far.

NJ Laying in the weeds? More like sinking in quicksand ! Still waiting for this Lynch (We have a plan scenario) other than stripping the talent level to the bone..

Yeah they will have lots of rookies coming in on draft day with cheap contracts but if they don’t nail this draft (atleast 3-4 starters?)their screwed..

What’s the difference between Shanahan and a Dollar?

A Dollar gets you 4 Quarters..

      • NJ49ER's avatar NJ49ER says:

Not sure what they’re thinking AK. Emmanwori is getting a lot of attention from many teams by the looks of it.

Shanny has got to be on thin ice by now. Four quarters and red zone statistics aren’t doing him many favors.

Looks like they’re planning to make some improvements at the TE position.

Kittle won’t be around forever. Get a youngster behind him.

    • alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

I like LSU TE Mason Taylor over Fannin Jr He’s taller at 6’5 heavier at 255 better run blocker, 10 inch hands compared to Fannin’s 9 1/4 inches great pedigree with his HOF dad Jason Taylor , I believe he was faster in the 40 then Fannin as well..Both great pass catchers though so either one would be a nice addition.Just like the overall upside of Taylor..

      • NJ49ER's avatar NJ49ER says:

Agreed AK, I was watching Taylor several times this past season and was impressed with receiving skills. Didn’t see much in the way of run blocking at LSU.

Since Shanny operates in the ZBS packages so much, the FB and TE have to contribute constantly. When Juice was released I immediately thought he was going toward a multiple TE idea instead.

Still could I suppose. I like what Harbaugh does, using the DT as a FB.

For that reason, JJ Pegues from Ole Miss is a DT I have on my wishlist.

He’s been doing the same thing at the college level.

      • NJ49ER's avatar NJ49ER says:

We’ve been mocked frequently to select his DT partner Walter Nolen who happened to admit he’s a 9er fan.

Wouldn’t mind having both of them 😁

So… what do we make of Diggs to Pat’s after all the BA speculation?

Are we going to pay the roster bonus before April 1?

Split-ticket swap to average out the salaries?

    Tic Toc….

Pretty sure we have him for this year. But if he expects someone to pick him up next year he’ll have to show something this year. The whole Aiyuk situation has been a disaster. It’s gonna be a long month until the draft. Just like the song says believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

  5. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Here’s a 7rd mock draft for Niners I kind of think is solid.Though I’m holding out for Membou first pick..

    1. Mykel Williams DE Georgia
    2. Cameron Williams OT Texas
    3. Cam Skattebo RB ASU
    4. Savion Williams WR TCU 6’4 4.48 speed
    5. 4th rd David Walker DE
    6. 4th rd Jeffery Bassa LB Oregon
    7. 5th rd Rylie Mills DT Norte Dame
    8. 5th rd Zah Frazier CB
    9. 6th rd Kobe King LB Penn St
    10. 6th rd Thomas Fidone TE Nebraska
    11. 7th rd Shilo Sanders Safety( Deion’s kid)
    12. 7th rd Donovan Edwards RB Michigan
  6. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Another intriguing mock draft I could get behind..I think with a very pass happy league the Niners might just be thinking wtf let’s have the best secondary in the league with Lenior,Green,Mustapha, and the newest stud CB Will Johnson..

    1.Will Johnson CB Michigan

    2. Walter Nolen DT Old Miss

    3. Aireokine Ersery OT Minnesota

4th rd 2 picks Savion Jones DE LSU

    RJ Harvey RB Central Florida

5th rd LB Cody Simon Ohio St

7th rd 3 picks QB Riley Leonard Norte Dame

    Center Willie Lampkin North Carolina

    Safety Hunter Wohler Wisconsin

I like the picks adding much needed pieces on both sides of the ball 🏈 Thoughts? On both drafts?

And the SF Giants rally down 4-3 down to their last out and Bailey tied it up followed by Mr.ED Wilmer Flores clutch 3Run HR for the game winner!!

I would not want to be the opposing Center when this side of hanging beef at 464 lbs is about to maul me to death 💀 NJ.Hey I’m all in as an UDFA but would the 49ers have to setup a second buffet spread just for him?

  7. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Desmond Watson’s Thighs are larger than a redwood trunk! My god the guy benched 225 lbs 36 reps the most probably bored at such a measly bar weight,he’s 6’6 464lbs, 40-yard dash 5.93 Vertical 25”.He’s never missed a game with the Gators in 4 years, due to an injury, which seems amazing!

He squatted over 720 lbs my lord but with those tree trunk thighs yeah easy to see..Give Saleh &Kourcuk (Sp?) some conditioning work on this lab built project and I’m in for sure , fuck it he can take on a Center and Guard clogging the middle! He’s over 100+ lbs over Vita Vea,I remember Packers DT Gilbert Brown at maybe 380? Not sure what Wilfork packed ?

His nick name is “Big Meat “🥩🥩🥩🍖🍖🍖

  8. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Since Brock Purdy was Mr.Irrelevant with jersey number 262 why wouldn’t a contact at 5/262 not be cool? Still works out to 52.4M is that still not good enough?
