Still and all, the only one that really pisses me off is Greenlaw. Even with our pussy defense that we played last season, the short time Greenlaw was on the field, the defense was great. Natch, throw him to the wind.
Cutting Juice pisses me off as well, mainly because he’s the ultimate team guy, and we are showing our true colors by shafting everyone. else. Up to and including Brok Purdy. I used to have a love/hate relationship with Horace Stoneham. I never could understand why he got rid of exceptional players in the end. And I never did until I read his bio. He just made some bad decisions outside of baseball and was losing money. But as a kid I just hated seeing obviously great players get traded away.

Could be a pressure tactic for Purdy, but it also provides a little leverage to paying him this year vs opening up a year of competition before writing that check.
Greenlaw is a great LB if healthy, 9ers couldn’t risk that kind of money gambling he returns to form but I wish him the best.
Juice is declining and despite the paycut last year he still wasn’t worth it.
