No Expectations – Game 11

Here we go into the abyss.

I have no expectations that this coaching staff will make any kind of meaningful adjustments to their offense or defense to affect significant change, but I guess we will see regardless. Brandon Allen gets the start, and our weak O line is weaker. Can we interchange CMC and Mason? Is that a bridge too far, seeing as CMC himself says he isn’t all the way back? Dial up pressure defensively since Bosa is out and we were inconsistent anyway.

Everyone is hurt, and we have two tough road games, then the Bears and Rams. Coming out of these next 4 games with a winning record will be a challenge, and likely our only path to the playoffs. Even 2-2, depending on the rest of the division, could be enough to hang around, but it looks like a hard road to 10 wins. Which is what I think it’ll take to win the West.

Yeah, this could could be a wash if we lose today but if we play em tough and don’t kill ourselves who knows no one is really standing out in our division. Interested to see Allen work and our defense play. It’s an opportunity for a few players to shine if we let them.

Well Cowboys backup QB is ambushing Commanders right now 20-9 in 4th.

Yeah totally beat up, no BOSA,Purdy,Trent Williams,Ward and now maybe Lenior? just got helped off yikes!

Packers take opening possession and burn half the quarter (7:35) and score on a TD to TE Kraft…

Our defense. Ye of little resistance.

And the first drive killing pre-snap penalty.

    Huzzah.

Chuck, a blitz and it worked! I am shocked

Can’t understand why Allen is starting over Dobbs.

    Stupid.

2 drives, 2 drive killing penalties.

Both on Puni who’s been solid all year 🫣

Though I replayed the second one that they didn’t show and it was a BS call that made the drive 1st and 20 so no chance..

  8. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

3rd and long, they know a pass is coming why not blitz again? Nope give up a long pass

  9. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

When was the last time the Niners played this bad?

  10. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

12 men on the field twice, and Kyle was pissed, half time in the locker room is going to be tense

  11. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

So far 1 first down in before the half, shake of the head

  12. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

This is the other thing I don’t like about Kyle, no sense of urgency. Why not do no huddle, do something different

  13. snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

Why don’t the Niners ever actually make a throw to a receiver who is IN the end zone? Is that illegal now?

  14. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

5 penalties and 3 first downs, nice. And just like every game Kyle the clock watcher

  15. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

1 minute in the 3rd will there be a sense of urgency or run out the clock out

  16. snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

Penalties on Niner’s special teams on 3 of last 4 of its returns of punts and kickoffs. It appears there is nothing that can be done about it. Special teams has been just horrendous continuously all season…

  17. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Over 100 yards lost on special teams the last 3 penalties including the one on Deebo’s 87 yard call back to start the 2nd half !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Why is Allan slipping all the time

  19. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Okay down 3 scores, let’s see if Kyle just works the clock. No huddle and hurry up offense, don’t just walk up the field!!!

  20. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Didn’t watch. Kinda figured this would go this way.

  21. Berger's avatar Berger says:

This could be the stupidest team we’ve had since Erickson. They aren’t even smart enough to wear the correct cleats. The penalties are just aggravating.

  22. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Yeah, the penalties are the worst about all this. It shows a total lack of discipline. I can’t really see how Shanahan has control of the locker room at this point. They just make so many goddamn stupid mistakes.

Seems like every penalty is a killer. Our first 2 penalties killed our first 2 drives.

Saw the TD drive and then went out an played some tennis. Saw the pick on my phone waiting for a court, but really nothing in the 2nd half.

Such a shame this season is a complete waste. We are still one game out of the lead, but this is the gang that can’t shoot straight.

    What a mess. Total shitshow.
