CMC Has Entered the Practice Field . . .

Hey! Some good new on the injury front. Not only did running back Christian McCaffrey return to the practice field for the first time since September 7, wide receiver Jauan Jennings, kicker Jake Moody and offensive lineman Jon Feliciano were all practicing as well. Moody wasn’t terribly missed, but the botched extra point played into the Niners loss to KC, and the short kickoffs bit them as well.

Getting Jennings back is pretty big what with BA going out for the season. And CMC? Well, his return (and health) is pretty goddamn essential as we all have seen with the red zone struggles, and the ineptitude on 2nd (and 3rd, and 4th) and short.

Still a few hours left in the trade deadline and I’m fairly surprised we haven’t made a move to shore up the WR spot or the interior line. DeAndre Hopkins had himself a nice little game yesterday as a newly minted KC Chief with 8 catches, 86 yards, and 2 TDs.

De Fo Bu? Do it!

    Hey! He’s a warm body.

Let’s hope the second half of our season goes better than the second half of most of our games to date.

Same with Gipson. Free safety play and back-end coverage has been fair to poor. He should help some.

One thing going for the 49ers in this game against the Bucs the 49ers are 16-2 in games after a bye week the best record in the NFL since 2022..

Man, watching the Ravens play defense. it’s like watching us. But they are even worse when they go zone short and deep. They can’t stop a 3rd down to save their lives.

Mason and CMC look to be back. Hopefully with Guerendo ready to go as well.

Shanny really needs to manage the RBs down the stretch. All these guys need to be kept upright.

Course right when I say that, Cincy fumbles on the 18, Balt scores a TD and forces a punt.

  8. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

And Balt scores another TD. and they miss the XP!!! Nutty shit.

  9. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Wow. Another game where there are blatant penalties against the visiting team that are ignored. 2 facemask penalties on Burrow that are ignored. 2 holding calls on the goal line on the 2 pt try, plus the face mask.

For all the goddamn flags, they choose to miss obvious shit.

You overthink things. Bengals lost because they went for two. There needs to be some perspective here.

It’s taken me a few days to process last weeks events. I will be spending a lot less time online since I’ve had my limit of bullshit for awhile. Hope the Niners can come back to some sort of relevance in our remaining games. Will still check in here and flav’s blog if he starts it up again. Thanks chuck for keeping this alive.

Yeah, I’m off the news in any form for the foreseeable future.

much as I want to avoid the news, Biden screwed the democratic pooxh by not bowing out much much much earlier. Like 2 months before the dem primary.

Dems should’ve held him to his initial statement of being just a one-term president. Given a full year, a Dem ticket might have done better. But, maybe not…

He should have held himself to that.

    oh well.
