I don’t know what t think about any of this. The 49ers remind me of the Steve DeBerg Niners. Playing good enough to lose. Iffy play calls, taking turns fucking up, bad special teams, too many 3rd down conversions, Purdy’s bad day . . .
On and on. Can they figger this out? Dallas is not KC. And we did pull off a win vs Seattle. So there’s that. Purdy looked very skittish last game. And early on he wasn’t under a lot of pressure. But he threw into triple coverage on the first pick. The 2nd one was off-page, and the 3rd was awful but Purdy got hit.
Dallas? They are as big a mess or possibly bigger. No clue about this game. Just hope we stop shooting ourselves in the feet.
San Francisco 49ers Forever 
I think this is win or go home. Lose to the Cowboys and even though statistics say the 9ers are still viable I don’t believe it.
It’s getting to the point where I don’t even know who’s backing up who anymore. Might as well throw everything into the mix and evaluate what we have at every position.

There is a lot of similarities to the DeBerg years. We could actually score some points but our defense was a sieve at the crucial times. Our defense now is much better than it was then but the outcome is just the same. At least this year. I want to see us hammer the Cowboys, we usually step up in these games. We still need new play callers on both sides of our game.

Good Moring, question for the group, why isn’t the NFL putting more pressure on Colleges to produce pass catching backs like CMC? Is it because the Niners are the only team to use their backs that way?
I can’t remember a back like Roger Craig and CMC on the Niners. Even Gore wasn’t a pass catching back.

Almost felt good about this one. Till Shanny gaaked over 2nd and 1 and 3rd and 1, punted, and promptly gave up 2 TDs in the span of 6 minutes and nearly gagged up a 17 point 2nd half lead.
Shanahan has been an OC since 2008, and a HC since 2017 and he still doesn’t know how to finish off a team. He continues to run ineffective plays on the goal line. And this team really knows how to shott themselves in the feet.
Throw in 9 penalties that stopped a ton of drives and cost us a TD, and you have a sloppy game that almost got away. But Dallas is not a good team, and Dak gave away a couple picks. The D played well in the 3rd quarter and played equally terrible in the 4th.
Until thois offense grows some consistency and the defense plays anything resembling a complete game will I feel good about this team. Their window is shutting and This team is in limbo right now.
Wasn’t pretty but a win against Dallas is always good.
Do we see Lynch pulling the trigger on a trade this week? Andy just did a deal with NE for an edge rusher and we still can’t plug the middle.
