Hey, we did get BA signed. Ricky Pearsall had a bullet magically pass through him with what appears to be very little damage. And, hey, the shoulder gets more time to heal as someone noted. A win-win? I think his playing after he’s off the pup list is pretty slim, but the fact he was released so quickly says a LOT about the nature of the injury. In that it is likely there was no lung damage or any major arteries hit. Amazing to say the least. Here’s to hoping he fully recovers. Regardless on his status with the team.
Still, the big but is Trent Williams as his big butt is not signed. To help, they re-signed tackle Brandon Parker. He was one of the cuts on cut-down day last week so he knows the system. Other than that, pray he can slow down the Jets pass rush,

I see this Season starting with lots of motion and ground attack.
Our OL is going to take time to adjust to the new system, however, a WCO should help them once Alex and the WRs get into the necessary rhythm.
Game 1, lots of Gore and Hunter, 9ers win a close one. I do expect Harbaugh to take some deep shots though, VD and Braylon will be a nice duo.

Less than a week to game day and my thoughts turned to the wins and losses this season. It’s been a really weird off season and we haven’t seen any game time snaps with our full starters in, especially on O.
Makes predictions harder to do but here goes anyway. I think they may struggle early on, even if they win. They just haven’t played or even really practiced together at full strength.
The team restocked on the D line, improved in the backfield, will miss Greenlaw early but have good depth to mostly handle it, are thin at O line and need Feliciano big time for reliable depth/starter, improved at RB depth and WR depth and are thin at TE, it’s Kittle and?
On balance this team is slightly better than last year IMO and I believe another 12-5 season is what we will get.

Yeah, I was pretty down on the vibes and status of the team a week ago.

These two programs are why those border patrol apprehension numbers are down. The fed govt is still allowing the invasion to continue with same total numbers but keep a big chunk of them away from cbp apprehension between land ports like San Diego, El Paso etc.
