Well, Maybe . . .

Word from NFL insider (whatever the fuck that is) John Frascella is the deal is done with BA. No numbers yet but it will be announced soon.

Great. Cool. Get Trent signed. Get more O line help.

And of course he’s now going to the Browns.

Talk on KNBR, is Amari Cooper and some cash for Aiuk

I think Ricky Pearsall has traits similar to Rams Puka Nakua, but its unknown if he is on that kind of level yet. However, even if the 9ers had drafted Puka, he wouldn’t have had the impact he’s had at the Rams and in the league.

Kyle has an inherent distrust of rookie WR and requires them not only to be near perfect at playing WR but to block downfield like a DB and to understand the complex scheme for the other positions too. His offense is a choreography and has little room for individualism, you must largely play your position as written first and only then will you be able to shine individually. His “dog house” stems from that which BA found out for himself.

In effect it means being a talented WR is not enough to see the field early on.

McVay took a risk with Puka because his main weapon Cooper Kupp was injured, and as a result Puka took the league by storm.

Even if Ricky is as talented as Puka, a big IF, he won’t get the opportunity to be on the field in the same way. In some cases, possibly Ricky’s, it can stunt fast paced growth.

Kyle is wildly successful doing it his way, but I think it makes breaking in as a rookie WR exceptionally difficult, and that has proven to be the case with the 9ers under Kyle.

Will he or won’t he? BA apparently has the final say on where he goes, should he go. Despite the handshake heard ’round the webosphere last week.

Shanny and Lynch ought to know by now that banking on a rookie to take up the slack for a proven vet sure didn’t work out with DeFo and Kinlaw. And rookie WRs that take the world by storm are kinda few and far between. Puna notwithstanding.

Despite all the talk I still think BA is staying.

Pretty funny. Teams will pay him his $30 mill but they won’t give up a 1 and 3 on top of that.

And if I’m the Niners, the offer would have to be something huge.

I don’t believe a trade will happen, it’s the NFL so anything is possible but the 9ers would need a player and picks, BA hasn’t done enough to get paid $30m as well as the team giving up an impact player and picks.

9ers signed Matt Breida, the Cheetah is back!

If BA goes to a team that is pass heavy offense, I see him burning the Niners in a game.

Also on KNBR, the Niners might not sign Trent.

Christ. Ignoring the line will be the downfall for this team. If Purdy gets hurt they have no one to blame but themselves.

They are just shooting themselves in the feet again with these holdouts and hard-line stances.
