So far in this early training camp, 3rd round pick Dominic Puni is getting rave reviews for his grasp of our system in picking up blitzes and executing combo blocks. He’s playing so well, there’s talk of him starting over the injured Spenser Buford.

Good news for a unit that is still waiting for the team to address the glaring absence of Trent Williams.

BA, Lynch and Shanny all high fives and hugs on the field. Lynch and BA have chatted together but before but this was different and hopefully this gets done this week.

I live near Cowboy camp in Oxnard. Each year a ton of fans show up but not this year. Hardly any Cowboys shirts seen around town. Drove to their practice fields, almost no fans showed up.

Has the worm FINALLY turned on Jerry Jerk-Off? Amazing how long it has taken.

They are a hot mess that can only beat bad teams.

See the Bears signed WR DJ Moore to an extension 4/110 82 million guaranteed.

So way lower then what BA would get and I get that.BA is by far the better player. Is be waiting to see how much more Ceede Lamb will get then him first?

His stats are similar to BA. It’s really a 3 year extension at $27.5m per year with a 1 year no guaranteed money team option. I think that’s a decent comp for BA at a tad more, say $28m per year similar guaranteed money at $84m.

Doubles this year’s money and after 3 years he gets another even bigger bag because he plays with the Niners and his stats grow.

      Let’s Go Brandon!

Not seeing much good being reported on Latu this far. Seems he’s being seen as mentally unprepared.

Some guy called John Fracella, an “NFL insider” says BA deal with the 9ers is done, details to follow.

Hill isn’t a good comparison for BA.

Hill has been ellite for years whilst BA has been very good but certainly not ellite for 2 years.

He’s not in Hill’s class. The Hill signing isn’t going to sway the Niners even a little bit.

BA is worth $28m a year tops IMO, if he gets more than that he’s being paid for potential and that’s a dangerous way to operate.

I would rather they pay Trent Williams before they pay BA.

Williams is crucial to the success of this season, far more so then BA.

I do believe the team is better off with BA than without him and I think he signs a second level WR contract with the Niners, which is where his skillset and resume so far place him.

    Let BA sit if necessary.

This shit at this point is just dumb. Just sign Williams and let BA twist in the wind.

He is under our control for 3 more seasons so he has nothing to leverage. His only recourse is to sit.

    Mike Lombardi talking about BA:

“”We treat this guy like he’s f—–g Randy Moss,” Lombardi said. “I mean, he had a good year, he’s a good player.”

Exactly. BA is a good second tier #1 WR, he’s not on par with the elite WR’s getting $30m a year, at least he isn’t yet, and you don’t get paid for “potential” from a first tier organization like the 49ers, that’s not how they do or can afford to do business, they have too many star players to pay. Some of these other organizations can afford to overpay to keep their one or two star players happy, the 49ers can’t do that.

Bosa first tier, Williams first tier (still). Those guys deserved and got top of the market money from the 49ers, BA won’t.
