According to NFL Media, Monday’s discussion between Brandon Aiyuk and the 49er brass appears to have been productive. It was a “good meeting” and the 49ers plan to move forward with Aiyuk on the roster this season, Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday.
If this does come to pass, then it seems they learned their lesson in getting players signed before the fucking season starts. As we all know, they dillied and dallied with Deebo and Bosa to the detriment of both players and the seasons that followed.
BA and Purdy already have a good thing going, and with an even stronger set of wide receivers this season, getting them all on the practice field together is crucial. I’ve been saying all along this would happen, but I’ll be very glad the sooner it happens.

I don’t see a viable path forward for Biden after showing his faculties are that impaired during the debate. What condition would he be in 4.5 years from now?
It means voters would be defacto electing Kamala Harris as President since Biden can’t possibly be expected to serve out a second term even in the highly unlikely event of winning. Harris is hugely unpopular herself.
Dems urgently need to find another viable candidate to have any chance of beating Trump in November.

Newsome is a guy that has been on my mind as a viable option. Question becomes how do you switch horses mid stream with the stakes this high?
I would go with the Gretchen lady from Michigan. We would at least get a majority of the female vote and probably most democrats as well. Lot’s of people from California don’t like Newsom. He might be a little too progressive for some.

Klobuchar from MN wouldn’t be a bad option either IMO though she’s not nasty enough. Newsome at least has some measurable fighting skills from what I’ve seen of him.
Either way, it’s all about one’s perception of reality and, I’m amazed at the lack of clarity involved with the number of felony charges to date attached to, and around, Trump. Always a deflecting view of the obvious. He’s a fraud with autocratic intentions yet that seems to be OK?

A few years ago Newsome and his entourage came visiting the home club side of Levi during a game, he was trying to gladhand fans. Almost nobody went near him, it was like watching the Red Sea part and not because of his security. He’s a smarmy toxic empty suit engaging in vote getting free giveaway politics and the price is paid by businesses.
He is very bright and I have no doubt is capable of holding his own in the debate setting but I don’t see his act working well enough to win an election.
