Playoff Health Check

Shanny gave the latest health status, and it looks pretty good for our guys.

AA, JJ, and CMC are all on schedule to play. As are safeties Ji’Ayir Brown and T Gipson and CB Ambry Thomas. However, Clelin Ferrell, Drake Jackson and Taler Hawkins are out.

Just goes to show how much the Niners needed this break.

  • DE Clelin Ferrell (knee): Will miss “a few weeks” with a knee injury; will miss “at least a game”
  • DT Arik Armstead (foot): Should return to practice this week; would have played Week 18 had it been a must-win game.
  • WR Jauan Jennings (head): Has passed the concussion protocol and will practice this week
  • RB Christian McCaffrey (calf): Won’t practice this week but is expected to return to practice sometime next week
  • DE Drake Jackson (IR – knee): Isn’t healthy enough to come off of IR yet
  • Ji’Ayir Brown (knee): Expected to return to practice this week
  • CB Ambry Thomas (hand): Expected to return to practice this week
  • Tashaun Gipson (quad): Expected to return to practice this week
  • George Odum (IR – bicep): Will have his 21-day practice window opened this week, leaving the door open for a return in the playoffs
  • S Tayler Hawkins (wrist): Will require surgery

Chuck I put some information for you on the last thread regarding the logo you posted.

You are dealing with the BOC (Blue Oyster Cult) symbol on the T-shirt you saw.

I was trying to post that on Flav’s blog but it wasn’t working so I tried it on mine.

Saw them a few times so I know the logo!! They played at the Stone on Columbus St as Soft White Underbelly. Great to see them in a small venue like that.

In other news, Pete Carroll gets the axe in Seattle. Along with Mike Vrabel, Riverboat Ron Rivera, and Arthur Smith, the Black Friday heads keep rolling.

A little shocked by Pete’s firing. He seemed to be doing pretty well with a not-so-stellar lineup. The insistence on sticking with Geno was a little baffling to me. They had all those picks and didn’t get a QB.

I guess he’s remaining with the team in an advisory role. odd.

From NJ last thread. Had no idea about this record but I do remember Charley Taylor! Lots of great WRs back in the day.

This was the confirmation I was after with Deebo –

Yeah up to 8 Head Coaches now that lined up on the firing squad wall, not sure of the record but it’s got to be up there🤔
Dan Quinn(A Quinn Martin Production) seems to be the perfect fit to go back to Seattle and take over for Carroll, instead of sticking around the Clowns 🤡 of McCarthy&Jones any longer..

We are going to miss him he was the prize hire of the new 2017 staff. He could have left anytime in the last 4 years. The skins just got real.
