Sourdough Sam Fails to Rise

Bread jokes. I know. We don’t knead those. Not that the game didn’t matter but it is a bit worrisome that our kicker left 4 points out there. The starters, including Trent Williams, all looked good. They all got out unscathed, and it wasn’t until the end that shit fell apart. Darnold is Darnold. He can hit the short shit, but missed a lot of mid to deep passes.

I will give him that he was let down on the last 2 drives by 2 big drops that would have put us in position to at least be a lot closer to kicking that game-winning FG, but the backup line was not very good by the end of the game, and Darnold was dealing with a lot of pressure. I really wanted Moody to get the shot to redeem himself. Hopefully he’ll get back to righting himself, but it is at least something that is consistent. They’ve all gone wide right. Something he can hopefully correct.

Still and all, no injuries of note, and the resting begins. Good to see Ray Ray back, and I hope AA and JJ both come back for our next game.

Caught a note that Clelin Ferrell left with a knee injury Chuck.
    Any indicatrion of the severity?

Moody is moody and the Dallas K Brandon Aubrey overtook Emmitt Smith for total points scored for Big Duh.
      Like huh?

The kicker scored more points than Emmitt?
      That’s incredible.

So happy to see the NYG settle the rivalry between NY and Philly with a beatdown too.
Predicting a limited amount of ledge space for the jumpers in Philly after that showing.
Serves you right to suffer baby 😀

    Found this via Maiocco –

The 49ers came out of the game with one injury concern:
Defensive end Clelin Ferrell made his 17th start of the season, but he sustained a knee injury on the opening drive, leaving his status for the postseason uncertain.

    • NJ49ER's avatar NJ49ER says:

While the 49ers appeared to avoid any significant injuries, there is concern about starting defensive end Clelin Ferrell, who left after the first series of the game with a knee injury. There is optimism Ferrell will be available for when the 49ers open the playoffs in two weeks after it appears he avoided a significant injury.

Didn’t see the entire game, just what came via NFLRZ –
Any word on whether Deebo got his record setting yards?

    • NJ49ER's avatar NJ49ER says:

Found this via Fantasy stats – I think he got what he needed?

Samuel didn’t see a touch or target after the first quarter, finishing with two catches on as many targets for 15 yards and one carry for 11 yards.

All I know is Deebo went over 1,000 rushing yards for his career.

As far as Ferrell goes, he avoided an ACL/MCL injury but may miss our first playoff game on the 21st.

And per John Lynch, he expects AA to play in the playoffs.
