12/31/23 – Happy New Years Eve!
Two games left and we have a one game lead. I think we need this bye week as we are the walking dead. AA, Jennings, Moore, and Brown are out. Burks, Williams, Purdy, and Deebo all were full participants so we should be fine on offense.
Unless this was Purdy’s comeuppance. Very curious to see how he does after that debacle last Monday. The Niners moved the ball well for the most part, but there were a lot of bad breaks.
Washington is in full rebuild mode after trading their stud DE bookends Chase Young and Montez Swett. Jacoby Brissett got the start at QB for 5 hours as he promptly pulled a hammy after being named the starter so Sudden Sam Howell will get the start.
Dallas did us yet another favor in beating the Lions yesterday, so a win today would really get the 1 seed that much closer.
And I think AZ can really give Philly a run as their run defense is not very good.
San Francisco 49ers Forever 
Yeah, we have to dig deep today and win this one. A win would be a big team moral booster. That was the main reason I thought we should play Ravens with everything we had and I think we pretty much did but we just were not at full strength. So good luck Niners.
Well last week was an anomaly (IMO), for one the Niners were moving the ball during the 4 Int’s. And without those 4, you could wipe out 14 points for the Ravens. I am more worried about the play calling when the Niners are behind. Seems to be Kyles Achilles heel. And of course the injuries.
Yeah, I worry about that also.

Life of Sam Howell. Takes over on his own 2, throws a completion for -1, another completion to the 5, and then rolls out and get smushed by Bosa as he almost throws another pick. Made couple plays earlier but otherwise not much to write home about.
Anyone who talks crap about Purdy’s abilities is ignorant about football. Watch a few of David Lombardi’s videos for the real scoop on just how good he’s been this year. I can’t even remember the last time a 49ers QB tossed 31 TD passes, let alone thrown for well over 4,000 yards.
He should only get better too.
