Well, per SI, the 49ers are getting a lot of calls regarding Trey Lance.
“The 49ers have been fielding calls from other teams regarding interest in trading for quarterback Trey Lance, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. San Francisco is likely going with second-year quarterback Brock Purdy as the team’s future starter.”
Don’t know how many ways I can say ‘who’s gonna trade for an unknown commodity?’

Really don’t think the Niners do anything other than wait on how this season plays out. Unless we get two 1st round picks for him. And no GM in their right mind would make that deal now based on the limited playing time for Lance.

Best-case scenario is Lance does really well, Purdy comes back and plays well, and we sign Lance’s 5th year option and trade him. Or trade Purdy should Lance explode. Hey. it could happen.
I’m really bummed about the passing of HOF LB Dave Wilcox, who really was the the first player to put the OLB position on the radar.Along with Hazletine formed a dynamic duo.But adding HOF CB Jimmy Johnson on his side in the formation was something teams avoided a lot.

Ahhhh, man, those late 60s-early 70s teams were my first love in sports. Loved the Niners back then. Wilcox, Tommy Hart, Cedrick Hardman, Skip Vanderbundt, Jimmy Johnson, Brodie, Washington, Kwalick, Whitcher, Windsor.
Wilcox was a true bad-ass on the field. Relentless. HoF class of 2000. Man, that sucks.
Those teams back then were fun.

Farhan is turning out to be a dud. 5 years of draft have produced Villar and Highway to Hjelle.
Ramos is garbage. Hjelle can’t get anyone out. Bishop is out for the season. Luciano and Harrison are the only possible starters at this point.
Yeah, no matter how you spin it the Giants are not a good team and our future looks pretty bleak.
