Game day is finally here!!! We’ve all heard the talk, seen the replays, listened to the pundits, and understand that Shakira and J Lo are the halftime show. Time to play the game!
We’ve gone over the matchups and position battles, and even the history of the Niners in their quest to get their 6th trophy. The pundits have all weighed in, even the bettors have raised the point spread to -2 for the Chiefs in certain books. Among all the talk, one thing I didn’t mention was the coaching.
In the end, I think Kyle Shanahan calls a better game than the Walrus. Koo-Koo-Ka-Choo, once a bridesmaid, always a bridesmaid. KC is relying too heavily on their offense, and I think we can slow them enough to win. They will score, but we will slow them down enough to take this.

it’s about time, they really stretch this out to long. Corporate bullshit. Anyway, holding my breath and crossing my fingers. No turnovers and we probably win. Hoping to see a clean game from Jimmy. Go Niners.
Got my Niner gear on it’s always special to put it on for a SB game again! Been 25 years since the last one but it’s just awesome to have a chance for #6 with this team!
Their are several teams that still have never been to the SB, and I’m sure it’s frustrating for them, but you have to have the fire in your orq with repeat success to get the job done..Patriots,Steelers,Packers,Cowboys &of course the 49ers all have it other teams never will..
we need all the mojo we can get.
I think this game is a toss up. We gotta step up or we just might get stepped on. Kinda like the 2014 KC World Series. They had the overall better team but we had Bum. We need someone to step up like MadBum did.

As much as everyone talks about the Chiefs prolific offense putting up points, it was the 49ers who were even more high powered out scoring the Chiefs 479-451 in the regular season!
And yet with the 49ers dominating defense it was the Chiefs who gave up less points 310-308 in the regular season!
Yeah this shapes up to be 1 hella of a football game🏈
The defensive numbers are skewed by our injuries mid-season. We gave up a LOT of points with some key pieces out. No key pieces missing today. I actually think we’re better on both sides of the ball. If we can run for at least 150, I think we win. Make it 200+ and it’s a laugher.
Stats CAN lie. And sometimes perception skews reality.
in a season of coincidences, from 3 years to the SuperBowl for Walsh and Shanny, to the Mahomes/Marino comparisons, the kicker is, this is Puppy Bowl XVI.

One stat that skews in our favor is that all season, if an RB gets through the KC line, they usually bust tackles. I think we win the line on both sides and win the game. If we are very good at one thing on the O line it is opening holes for the RBs.

I don’t think KC can stop the Niners Offense. The NO game showed what Kyle is capable of. He will start with run, if KC decides to load the box, Kyle opens up that play book and goes all in. If KC can’t stop the run, well Minnesota and GB come to mind.
One stat you would think KC has is most explosive plays of 20 yards are more.No it’s the 49ers that own that and it’s the highest total in the 4 years!
Shanny is a master of dialing up deception plays and getting the separation for his receivers in space, a lot like how Walsh would do it with Rice&Taylor 5 yard slant turns intoYAC 75 yard TD’s..
Funny, they were doing cheers between Niner fans and KC fans, and the KC fans didn’t know who Honey Badger was. Derp.
I hope we kick their ass and not leave any doubt. I still think turnovers will be the key. We have to play a clean game.
I still say, open showing run, surprise them early with play action, THEN start ramming it right down their throats.
