The UDFAs are Here! all 11 of them. Read if you dare. We got a QB from Dartmouth (a local kid from Atherton in Jack Henegan) and a once-highly-rated CB from Fla State, Tavarus Mcfaddon, a highly touted 2nd round type guy who had a bad 40 time and fell out of the draft. All the better for us as I think way too many people put way too much stock in 40 times. I mean really, Renaldo Nehemiah worked out so well.

I think we can safely say that Eric Reid isn’t coming back any time soon.
Yeah, we do have a logjam with DB’s good problem to have.
Yeah, we went through our share of DBs last year. And more.
4 DB’s and 3 Olinemsn so far on the PS. That says there is open competition at both positions S/CB’s, G/OT’s. We got so lucky getting JImmy G that they can spend the time to really cement other positions like WR’s, Next year Dline/LB.
More competition and depth, just what the doctor ordered. Time has slowed to a crawl as we await OTA’s then finally training camp. Thankfully the Giants are playing some entertaining baseball so far.
The Giants have a lot of fight in em this year, we just need to get Bum, and Cueto back.
Lots of offensive linemen and secondary guys. Dunbar is a big bodied receiver. Anyone know what his speed looks like?
I’ve seen 40s for Dunbar that range from high 4.5s – 4.78 Lurker John.
Bio on him is decent hands, wins often with contested ball catches.
Had a good stat line in terms of games played (51) and put up 13.5 YPC Avg.
Call him a 3rd Down/Sticks mover at this point I guess?
He’ll be a long shot for sure.

Winder , you asked me what I thought about Tavarius Moore. For me this was the who the ‘F’ is that draft. I don’t watch much college football so most of our picks came as a mystery to me ! From what I’ve seen on Moore I’m thinking special teams , might wind up as our KR guy this year .
I am pretty sure Pettis will be the kick and punt returner. But moore might share the duties with him, it’s an exciting possibility for ST’s.
Of the UDFA’s I’m happy we signed CB Tarvarus McFadden.
He has a definite shot to stick, ROB!
In case you forgot Dan Reeves played the game before he coached . . .
And to think football people were not worried about concussions in those days. And no eye protection too.
That is a fantastic photo. Football of old.
That’s a great post!

Nice
Yeah, thanks for posting that. Such a sad story for an iconic Bay Area athlete and genuinely nice guy.
Man, that is tough. But as owners go, they don’t get much better than Eddie D, Most of what he does for the ex-players goes unnoticed.
I like this guy already:
This current Lynch regime drafts with a definite purpose in mind for each player. He and the HC want a certain type of player with certain skills to fit their system of playing. That’s bound to make this draft superior to the former regimes efforts.
