Hey I don’t know. I don’t know too much about the Titans, but Mariota is having a strange year and the Titans are all over the place. Our 3 wins are against teams with a combined 10-30 record, so no great shakes. A win against the Titans would be an indicator of actual improvement over a playoff team. Then again, we are hurt, undermanned, and young. Things that have affected us all year.
Still, if they can somehow get the penalties under control, and keep consistent pressure up on Marcus Mariota, they could come out of this with win #4. Not holding my breath, but I think they pull this one out.
I had 27-14 last week. Not bad.
Today? 31-20. . .
Niners that is . . .

Awesome. I love the homage to the great Boris Karloff on Kirk’s axe, as he appeared in arguably the greatest horror flick of all time, the original The Mummy.
Few are up for this game or season. I can tell by the use of music videos that football is on the backburner. For today we still have an injury riddled team waiting for the season to end. Perhaps Jimmy G. will pump some life into the party. The only question remains does he sign long-term?
Not for me. I’ve been front and center for every game, today as much as game one. Good things are happening. Winning two of the last three would be huge going into next year. With JG, this team is fun to watch again.
I concur.
I am here nip, I just wanted to hear some Metallica. And let others do the same.
Go Winder!
Assuming a solid draft and some key FA pickups, I expect the Niners to make a significant leap forward next season, perhaps even contend for a wild card spot. Injured guys like Malcolm Smith, Tartt and Ward will be coming back, Foster, Thomas, Colbert and Witherspoon will all have a year under their belts. Joe Williams will be in the fold from the beginning. He’s an unknown, but KS likes him and he’s loaded with talent. JG will be fully entrenched in the offensive scheme.
They’ve got a ton of cap space, a very good front office and coaching staff and a franchise QB. I don’t see how you can’t get pumped about all of that. Watch the locker room videos from the past few games. You can find them on the Niner’s site. This team is buying in, 100%, and KS and Lynch are leading the way.
Go team!
I totally agree. This off-season could be the one to get us over the top.
YEah, the NFL is all about quick turnarounds. The trick is to sustain it.
Just keeping Baalke away from the stadium would be a positive.
“Would be” ……should be “is”.
It already is, Nip . . .
Yeah I blew the wording on that one.
It’s very hard not to respect the hell out of john Lynch and the job he’s already done. The same goes for Shanahan. The team is young and hungry, and the young guys are getting a good look as well.
I’m not sure what their feelings are about Carlos Hyde, but they COULD stick with him and use the high pick for an impact guy. Whether Chubb or the CB.
I know I’vew been saying offense offense offense, but really, there isn’t a sure-fire offensive guy in the top 5 besides Barkley and I’m sure he will be gone by the time we pick.
If Hyde is there next year I will be shocked 😮 he has been injury prone the last 2 years, all of a sudden he has a career year? And it just happens to be his contract year? I don’t believe in coincidences!
He’s stayed on the field this year, so what’s the issue?
I would require more than 1 good year to keep him, and I certainly would not pay him top dollar
Fusco’s whiff job took them right out of that drive.
I hope they are not going to have trouble in the red zone today
Rams dropping the hammer on the Hawks early, 13-0 with over 5 minutes left in the first.
What’s the verdict on Harold so far this year? I’m not sure I can say one way or another how he’s been. I know he has a couple of sacks, but can’t really speak to his consistency.
Gould has been a freakin’ machine.
A true bright spot.
Harold has shown more this year than his previous 4. Not enough to keep him tho.
Be nice to keep them out of the end zone.
Fucking red zone problems again.
Hell of a catch if it stands.
That was a horrible throw Garoppolo.
Just take the sack.
All Quise there.
Brieda missed his block. One reason Hyde is more effective.
The run game has stalled out already.
