No Jimmy G. For Now

Well, either Jimmy G hasn’t fully grasped the new system, or the brain trust is being overly cautious, but BeatHard gets to play after his stunning (hah) victory over the resurgent New York Giants. CJ put Alex Smith to shame with his vulgar display of power over the vaunted Giants defense.

I kid of course, just my little shout out for Dimebag Darrell and Pantera.

Anyhow, it would be a late Thanksgiving treat to beat the Seahawks. Certainly possible what with the rash of injuries suffered by the Hawks defensive backfield. We are kind of getting healthy and we picked up a couple D linemen to boot.

Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving with you and yours . . .

    WOOF!

Whether we win anymore games this year or not I haven’t been this jazzed about a 49er team in a long time. I think we have two quality QB’s on the staff and that is what we have needed for years. We still have to upgrade a whole lot of areas and I think the people running the show are gonna get it done. If we can win a couple more games then all the better.

No intention of racism but I just thought it was interesting. Keep watching after the cartoon is over.

What’s interesting is look at all the credits at the beginning. A lot of big names signed off on this. I grew up loving Popeye cartoons and if I saw this one as a kid I would not have known what they were doing. I like that Betty Boop was black because that was the original.

My apologies for going off topic.

What’s funny is when my kids were little our neighbor had a tape she made of a bunch of looney tunes and popeye cartoons from the 60s. They were unedited ones i had seen before, and there was a ton of racist stuff in them.

Game day…….another victory? Probably not but one still can always hope.

Chip Kelly hired as UCLA’s head coach. 5 years and a cool $23 mill. He’s still getting paid by the Niners AND Eagles.

    • Nipper's avatar Nipper says:

UCLA must be desperate to spend that much on a coach who’s probably had his best days in coaching. USC will always beat their brains in no matter the coach.

      • Winder's avatar Winder says:

I dunno, Kelly is suited for the college game. Very few of em run the pro offense and razzle-dazzle seems to be pretty effective. Even though I can’t stand UCLA I do hope they can stomp USC at times.

Alex Smith looking like shit today. What happened? No 1st downs in the 1st half. He missed Kelce wide open on a post play on 3rd and 6 and checked down to a broken-up pass.

  6. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

As I write this Smith hits Kelce for 26 on 3rd and 13.

  7. Winder's avatar Winder says:

Trent Brown out today. The right side will be our weakness today. Somebody is gonna have to step up.

I am so sick of seeing a run on the very first play of the game, and I am sick of seeing 3 yard passes on 3rd and long!! So many other teams receivers go at least 10 yards!!

  9. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

The d is on point. The o is the usual 4 yard pass on 3rd and 10.

  10. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Brown’s spot was lacking on that 1st drive.

  11. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Wilson alnd his receivers seem to know where the first down marker is!!

  12. Winder's avatar Winder says:

dodged a bullet there. We just have to stop them on 3rd downs or it’s another long day

  13. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Hah! Crabtree and Talib in an epic fight.

  14. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

The way the plays are called it is as if they are playing not to lose, not playing to win!!

    • Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

That’s how they always play against Seattle, and why they almost always lose. Shanahan seems to think running wide against one of the fastest defenses in the league is a good idea.

  15. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

Ahkello looks like he could be a good one. Blanket coverage so far and great closing speed on the pass to the speedy Lockett.

  16. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

CJ holding onto the ball too long. Again.

  17. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

And to prove my point a run on 2nd and 22!! Pussy play calling
