Game Day! Jet City Free-For-All . . .

And by free-for-all I mean a low scoring affair. Pretty sure we don’t win this one.  The hope is measurable improvement. Less penalties. A touchdown or 2. Maybe continued stout run defense. And, for God’s sake a pass rush. I don’t understand why the only decent pass rusher we have, Aaron Lynch, was a scratch for the Carolina game, but he’s playing tomorrow, so the hope is we take advantage of a shitty Seattle O line that was beleaguered by a middling GB Packers defense last week, to the tune of no touchdowns.

Much like us. Yes, we need to sustain drives and keep our defense off the field. YEs, we need to score in the red zone. Yes, I’d love a win in Seattle. Much like the last 2 seasons. Thing is, we were hamstrung by bad coaching the last 2 years. The hope that Kyle Shanahan can get this offense going is the thing that is the thing.

So, 13-9?

Hoyer is a dud until he proves otherwise. Damn he’s the shits! Somebody should just kick his ass.

IK Seattle is doing the same thing. Difference is, we play soft and they don’t. So they get 15 yards after the catch, we get 2.

The blocking isn’t awful. Hoyer does have time. He seems to have lost all confidence. We need quick slants like the pass to Kittle.

Hoyer just can’t perform today. Whatever the problem his switch is turned off and he knows it. Perhaps he’s got no timing or feel for this game. Even short automatic throws are off. He can’t sustain a drive to save his soul.

Boyer missing everything, it’s not even close

Jesus. Almost had the pick. The D is fairly outstanding. Hoyer needs to just put together one fucking drive.

WTF – lets get creative here

    The offense just sucks wind!!

The o-line has played a lot better today overall, to be fair. The Niners have more sack than Seattle so far. The d-line is actually getting some pressure. Maybe the wet ball is causing Hoyer problems because Wilson has thrown a few wild ones too.

  9. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

The D is having a pretty good game, though Seattle has helped with at least 4 big drops.

  10. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

Seattle being held to 2.3 yards per rush to this point. Armstead is actually doing something, as is Buckner, Thomas had a nice play. Dumervil a no-show. Lynch is playing hard.

  11. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Jesus. The coaches have lost confidence in Hoyer.

    Nice hit!

  12. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

Fucking defense is getting it done! We wanted improvement, there it is.

  13. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

The D came to play but. The O is MIA!!

  14. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

A TD by either side would seal this game. The D is off the charts great. I’m still pissed they didn’t play Lynch last week.

  15. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

They need to go play action on 1st down and go deep.

  16. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

I guess they have given up on passing completely

  17. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

I think you guys are right, Shanahan has reined in the passing game due to no confidence in Hoyer. Fuck Goodwin.

  18. Lurker John's avatar Lurker John says:

We have a lead! Fuck Goodwin! LOOK THE FUCKING BALL IN!!

  19. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

    Goodwin comes up small. Fuck.

Would’ve been a first and goal at least.
