And so it goes. I guess the Harbugh era ends not with a bang, but a whimper. I’m sure these guys will play hard for their last couple games, but we are injured, depleted, and out of sorts across the board. Questions abou d in every aspect of the team from Jed to the grounds crew. About the only thing to play for is to stop the losing streak, which is at 3. Another first for the Harbaugh era. not sure what they have up their sleeves, but I highly doubt that Harbugh gets a deal after this season of everyone’s discontent.
lots of name are being floated out as possible successors but I’m sure they won’t go with any of them. The oisser to me is we shouldn’t have to go through another regime change. All that needs to happen is for Harbaugh to get an OC whose passing game isn’t rooted in the 1970s. He seems determined to stick with his guns regarding GRoman. In my head, that’s worth his ticket out of here. I know there’s a lot more to it than that, but it’s good enough for me. Then you have Baalke saying he doesn’t notice any problems with the offense. Right. We’ll listen to what you say after Iimbo. Leaves he building. I’m sure the story will be different come that day.
I ain’t happy about this, but I don’t see any other way out.

This season is one big downer. Yuck! Even the turf didn’t measure up!

Chuck there was nothing wrong with giving RayMc his due process, as allegations are easy to make in this sort of arena of millionaire athletes.
I give kudos to the 9er Brass today for cutting it to the core in short order.
I’m sure the conflicts with SJPD, being involved with personal security in the recent situation, complicated the process immensely.
As Baalke said in his presser today, the ‘pattern’ amounted to a zero tolerance decree that was likely stipulated by the August incident.
This now serves notice to the remainder of the roster, that being professional, and accountable, will matter greatly, going forward.
The inmates can’t run the asylum.

Another solid move today that serves kudos, was the benching of Cutler in Chicago.
I thought his display of insubordination on MNF was incorrigible.
His team mates deserved better, no matter what message he was attempting to deliver to OC Kromer or Mgt.
Again, you’re being paid millions to do your job, act like it matters, to the other 52 guys that are trying to do their parts to win.

As much as I’m high on Shelton, it might not be a bad time to secure a stud LB or OT, if available, in the area I figure we’ll be Drafting this time around.
We’ll likely fall somewhere between 15-20.
Shelton is worthy IMO but, like any Draftee, it’s all about value vs Draft slotting.
Of course, I assume the BPA mantra applies to the process as well.
Lot’s of changes coming in terms of Vets departing and all.
Of course this could change but my #1 draftee right now is Devin Funchess. He is a WR being listed by many as a TE. With his hands, wing span and overall width I see him as a dangerous weapon as a TE or WR. His slow speed does nor worry me. We need a good TE. VD didn’t look like he had much heart this year.
My problem with it is they knew about he earlier problem in May. The pattern was there.

I think we have all the o-linemen we need. We can lose Iupati and still fill all the spots including the depth. IMO, the problem we had with the line this year is the “dumb schemes” from the coach and his version of the rebuilt offense which he wasn’t qualified to run. Injuries played in some but other teams have injuries and don’t have the problems we had with our line this year.
Well I still think we draft a c pretty high. Jmart was barely sufficient in his role. M mart is a work in progress.
Kilgore was playing well before injury and M Martin looked like a guy that will compete in TC next year. Niners need guards more than C IMO.
Jay Cutler benched for the remainder of the season.
Yeah forgot abou Kilgore. I think losing him had the biggest impact on the line play.
Fucking Bullit is saying cutlets a better option than Kaepernick. Too funny. I suppose NoFear will come to his rescue soon.

I’ll say this for Cutler: he looks and sounds a million times more like an NFL QB than does Jimmy Clausen.

Clausen getting the start is a MAJOR indictment of Cutler’s attitude.
Watching Golden State play offense is wonderful. They don’t even call plays they just have good rhythm and flow. A good NFL offense should have good sight adjustments at the LOS to help the rhythm. Anybody who saw last year’s Warriors team and then this year’s should be able to see the difference. The 49ers need a coach who can give the 49ers the same transition the Warriors went through. This kind of rhythm has to be designed and taught by the coach so they can then execute it. The 49ers were never taught this kind of rhythm by this coaching staff.
Yeah, hard to watch these last couple games wit a lame duck coach and players who are in varying stages of bailing.
Gonna be a much different looking team next season.
This team desperately needs speed. Harbaugh certainly didn’t know how to use the speed he had in Ginn and LMJ.
