Here we go. A shot at our 3rd NFC Championship game in a row. We do know that to get to the Super Bowl we would have to go through Seattle. Stop me if you think the Seahawks were pretty nondescript in their win. If not for the fumble, the Saints could have taken over in the 2nd half and won. And if Marcus Colston didn’t have the biggest brain fart in sports history, well, they could have tied it.
Anyhow, as much I would have loved to see the championship come here, it would be a certain kind of special to beat Seattle in the Ding dome next week. Today? Well the biggest thing we need is a better showing by the offensive line. Mike Iupati was dinged up, and of course VD got dinged up early and Celek was out as well. I think Eric Reid went out as well, and Aldon Smith was just returning from his rehab. And Crabs of course. The biggest missing piece. With all that, the Niners were a near-completion to V McD that was broken up from kicking a game winning FG.
Surprising in the 2nd game was the effectiveness of LeGarrette Blount. Indy’s defense was great at keeping Brady out of the end zone, but not the running backs. For all the injuries NE has overcome, they are doing a pretty good job of things.
For once can we have a laugher?

Really, I can’t remember a more perfect 2 championship games. . Peyton vs Brady? Niners going back to Seattle? This is insane.
Speaking of blowing a load, Goodie Goodell is ready to launch. This is the best match up he ever could have hoped for.
The ratings will be through the roof.
What a great weekend of football and next weekend looks to be just as good. Seriously looking forward to beating the Squawks next week, so sick of their schtick. Usurpers.

Yeah, we’ll you can bet money that Goodell would rather have SF in the SB than Seatle. Wether it is NE or Denver vs. SF.

Had Carolina not come out of the gate looking to talk smack and, take cheap shots early on, I don’t think we’d have seen many flags at all today.
But since it got chippy, the Officials gave us the early benefit.
Our guys kept their cool however.
Lot’s of whoofing and cheap shots cost Carolina all day.
Fangio gambled early, by holding off pressure on Cam, in favor of making him hold the ball.
Cam is not real quick in terms of decoding coverages.
Once he holds and thinks, Fangios’ 2nd Half pressure got to him.
Our Defense and OLine got it done today.
Phenomenal game all around.

Seattle is hoping to do what we just did to Carolina and that’s try to get under our skin and force a couple of stupid penalties.
The answer to that is hit ’em hard but do it between the whistles, not after.
Maybe it’s the norm but I don’t recall teams restricting where they sell tickets before. Both the Squawks and now the Donkeys are not allowing tickets to be sold anywhere close to their opposing teams state.
Chicken shit if you ask me.
Yeah, that’s a new one for me as well. I thought they set aside tickets for the other teams’ fans.
