Conventional wisdom seems to be that this game is ripe for the Niners to have some kind of let down. After the physically and emotionally draining victory over the Seahawks, the prevailing thought is that the Niners will have problems handling the Buccaneers. If so, at least it isn’t a division game.
Anyway, for all the travel, the spend emotions, and the early start, the Niners should be able to handle these guys. TB doesn’t have that much offensively, and despite their defensive turnovers, the Niners offense should be able to do more against their defense than they can against ours.
So, that means we win, right?
Haven’t had any easy ones for a while. Let’s hope the rain isn’t bad, and this one is over quickly.
Yeesh. That should have been the 1st down play. WR sweep?
2 score game again.
They really hacve a problem throwing into the end zone throwing from the red zone.
Bo Schembechler Jr. got exactly what he played for there — 3 pts.
This shit don’t fly in the playoffs. We’re better off…
Time outs, and running Frank up the gut are the staples of this Niner offense.
They got the long drive I wanted — 10:27 long…
Good call snarkk.
BTW Im getting ready to read “Voyage of the Snark” among many of Jack Londons other works.
got too cute there. GAME OVER!
Game over
Well, at least they have the lead. And thanks to the D they should win this game
Play it safe in the red zone when you trust your defense more than your offense.
Yes indeed!!
Thanks Kendall.
What a fucking stupid play!!!!!! N
Thank you and good night!
Wow.
Didn’t the Niners do a stooopid reverse like that a few years back under Sing that blew up? Chuck?
In Seattle, Arnaz Battle fumble sez E Davis
Thank you special teams. Offense take a seat we don’t need you!
O scored 23 today Kevin.
Conservative play in the playoffs won’t cut it, especially against the Seahawks in Seattle. Seattle can score like the Bucks did in that 2 minute drill. I still don’t believe Harbaugh has a killer attitude. Run, hope you use up the clock and have your D win the game for you.
Agree with Kevin. At some point in the playoffs against good teams, you’ve got to go for scores in the end zone from the red zone. Starting to try for that in a playoff game when you haven’t done much of it during the reg season does not bode well for success in doing it in a playoff atmosphere…
With the Niner D, 23 will win most games.
Except in Seattle.
I don’t agree really. 23 is probably good enough even in Seattle if the D plays well.
Sound track lagging…..okay Hunter recovers fumble for TD
Hitner!!!
Solid win, away from home and early game. Kap played very well and the receivers were excellent. Run game was there just enough. Not a fan of going soft D, I understand the percentages game but if that is copied in the playoffs they are risking it all.
191 yards running
Good chunk was Kap runs, though…
Broncs fans are laughing their arses off. What happened, Mr. Future President?
Fins have the last AFC spot all but locked up.
