All-Time Post of Forever (#1)
NJ49er
says:
September 7, 2011 at 7:40 pm (Edit)
I see this Season starting with lots of motion and ground attack.
Our OL is going to take time to adjust to the new system, however, a WCO should help them once Alex and the WRs get into the necessary rhythm.
Game 1, lots of Gore and Hunter, 9ers win a close one. I do expect Harbaugh to take some deep shots though, VD and Braylon will be a nice duo.

This game is a measurement game for me.
We play to experiment with some new ideas perhaps?
All about game film for me.
We all know this game isn’t deciding much but, there’s the pride of keeping Seattle from clinching the Division on our turf.
We need to show that we can maintain control of the tempo and keep things from getting out of hand like has happened in the past 2 outings.
Win a close one, get some momentum for the stretch run and, hope we have the chance to play the bigger game against them in January.
I still believe we’re a much better Team than we’ve shown up there.
We match up pretty well.
Mighty white of me? WTF does that bullshit mean, Chuck? You think that makes you sound PC enough? Was Mandela your hero? Mugabe, too? Not mine.
Here’s a little perspective for you, outside normal PC bubble boundaries. Proceed with caution!!! There’s a real world out there. Some have to deal with it. Others prefer the bubble.

“For the civil rights movement in the United States, with all of its growing agitation and riots and bitterness, and insidious steps towards the appearance of a civil war, has not been infiltrated by the Communists, as you now frequently hear. It has been deliberately and almost wholly created by the Communists patiently building up to this present stage for more than forty years.” – JBS newspaper ads, 10/31/1965.
John Birch Society – honestly, NF? The folks that William F. Buckley, Jr. labeled a radical far right group? Those guys?
Is there anybody who the JBS DOESN’T THINK is Communist? Outside of their own precious selves, of course.
Just an article not many would print these days. But I urge you to look into the history of Mandela’s MK and of the ANC and the Communist Party of South Africa for yuorself if you doubt it RT.
Football anyone? My idea of radical comments is the score calls by Nip and Barley. But oh well… Sounds like we’re in playoff form around heah!
unca_chuck says: 20-16 Niners on a defensive battle in the electric mud of Candlestick. It would do a world of good to beat these guys at home. I’m hoping against hope we can shut them down on offense and get an early lead to build on. Chasing these guys is not a recipe for success. Besides, they have come back in a lot of their wins. They’ve looked bad winning and looked great winning. The point being they are winning. This should be their toughest road game, though. 20-16 Niners.
Irish Kevin says: Niners 30 – Hawks 24
philippinefan says: 27-24 Niners
rtfirefly says: 27-17 Niners. You heard it here first.
Nipper says: 34-7 Niners. They (Sea) suck.
NJ49er says: 17-13 Niners. I’m not especially convinced our OLine is going to handle things as well I’d expect due to injuries. Hoping we sneak out with a tight Defensive victory
12th man says: 21-17 Niners Phil
Random9erfan says: 22-20 Niners. I feel a Dr. Phil day coming up at the ‘Stick, so I will go with a 49ers 22- 20 win. Slippery Pete’s PharmaChoax are all healthy, and appear ready for the final leg of the season. Though with four weeks remaining, there is still enough time for another suspension or two I have no doubt the Niner defense will be ready…IMO, this game comes down to Kaepernick’s decision making and patience. Yes, Iupati & Staley out will make it that much harder but, if a team has Superbowl aspirations, it’s QB has to overcome adversity and make key plays to keep the chains moving
snarkk says: 23-20, Seattle. Staley said this morning he wants to play. Wanting to play and actually playing are not the same. If he’s out, and Iupati definitely is out, that’s not cool. Seattle is missing some guys in the secondary, but I don’t think that matters with this Niner passing attack that’s still trying to figure things out, and with Roman play calling that will probably run Gore too much, with no better than fair success. 23-20, Seattle…
NoFear49er says: 17-13 Niners. Run blocking shouldn’t be a problem for Snyder. He’s handled guys like Suh and Fairley without help. Especially against an aggressive d-line bent on penetration. We made a living trapping guys like Suh doing the same. And it doesn’t have to be all Gore. Their weakness is run defense. It only makes sense that our game plan exploits that. I’d make it a low scoring game for both teams. I’m guessing we can win it 17-13.
Barley to follow and 12 pack of San Miguel if he wins
barleyfreak says: Fearless prediction, 33-13…Niners. OK, let’s face it, Seattle is probably the best team in the NFL. They are a well coached, disciplined team that wins games even when they’re not playing well. And Wilson, who I can’t really hate, is clearly the better qb than CK at this point. Nobody expects the game to be anything but close. Seattle just blew out NO at home and is riding the “we are the greatest thing ever” bubble and they are due for a letdown. I know it’s the Niners, whom they hate, blah blah blah, but I just see a fart on the road for them, and I think it comes tomorrow. I don’t see our offense being dramatically juggernautish, instead the defense and maybe even special teams get half our points. Our defense has more than held up their side of the bargain the last few games, even the losses. I think they will again, and getting up early and with a few breaks NOT going Seattle’s way, the game won’t be as close as many predict.
Someone buy me a beer if I’m right.
twinfan1 says: 19-17 Niners. Big game for CK. Blow out losses in his two games against them last year and this. Both on the road and he played poorly. At home he needs a good one- not big numbers, just a nice solid performance, no turnovers. 19-17 Niners.
Derail the Shehags bandwaggon! Deflate the Carroll Clowns!
Game Day and I agree with NJ, this is a measurement game, just how good are the Niners this year?
Playing at home, just about at full strength, coming off a good win and playing maybe the best team in football who they just happen to hate and who are on a short week.
No excuses today!
This game is probably the pivotal game of the year. Win and confidence is high and the probability of 3 wins on the road goes way up. Lose and the reality is grim.
Go Niners!!!!!
Hey Phil,
How’s that forest of yours? I hope all is ok after all that bad weather. Seems like every year you guys are catching a big one.
Yeah, statement game or what have you, the Niners need this game to restore at least a semblance of competition within the division. We very well may end up back in Seattle for the NFC Championship, but if we lose this one, all bets are off. We may not even reach the playoffs. Although I will say we should, even if this is a loss.
That’s some football weather in Philly today. Lions are up against it today.
No surprise Lattimore didn’t get activated. I hope that turns out to be the right decision.
Wow. The refs just blew another one in the MIN/BAL game. The beat goes on. And in case you guys haven’t heard yet, Clete Blakeman, he of both the Mike Tomlin on the field and picking up the PI vs NE on the last play is our referee today. So when Clete screws us over real good — save your breath. I don’t want to hear it.
Did we fire Harbaugh yet?
Super Bowl in Jersey in February? Looking forward to it already. This Lions-Eagles game is a gas.
This game could go either way but I think SF squeaks by 23-20. I also think.Dennis will be drunk by 3 pm
yeah, 3 PM London time.
Best quote so far, after a run for no gain: “Tough sledding so far.”
Ha, no shit.
This is getting out of control. The refs just gave Philly 2 ridiculous penalties to let them score a TD to tie the game.
Fairly hit Foles in the gut as the ball was being released, thus negating the 3rd down incompletion, and they called an unsportsmanlike on him.
Detroit gets a TD on the ensuing kickoff. HAH! Can’t believe there’s no flag.
Regardless the crap-ass calls, this Det Philly game is great.
Until that.
the shanny’s might not make out of this week. that team has quit.
I still have to make an official call for today. I think I’m legally obligated. There might be consequences if I don’t. Lord knows the last thing I need is another summons to appear…
OK. We could win today’s game 100-0 and it still wouldn’t change the fact that Seattle is going to get HF throughout the playoffs. They don’t lose at home. Just put SEA and DEN in the SB and we’ll try again next year.
49ers 100
Seattle 0
My cat Frank isn’t so optimistic.
Seahawks 23
49ers 21
Frank actually wanted the total to = his favorite Niner of all-time, Ronnie Lott’s jersey number. Frank can’t add that well. He’s a cat fer schrissakes!
Seahawks 23
49ers 19
And who are you picking to win the SB?? Wilson or Manning??
can see them in houston or tennesee taking cousins with them
Oh, Cousins the QB. I thought it was some sort of hillbilly reference at first read.
you might be a redneck if….
I think it was. I was just about to say to move the entire Shanahan family and coach in Beverly.
Okay, IMO Harbaugh and Roman needs to stick to what has worked over the last 3 games. That and when the Niners get the lead do not, I repeat do not turn it over to the defense by going to the run and 3 and outs!!! It will be very hard for Harbs to do that so I am not hopeful. If he does that the Niners will lose. If Pete gets the lead he score, score, and score some more! He wants to crush the Niners. Pete has the killer instinct when it comes to the Niners. Hopefully Harbs starts getting that attitude also!!
Don’t hold your breath Kevin.
Too many wild and crazy games today. And too many wild and crazy guys in zebra outfits making it worse. What a world. What a world.
If MIN fucks this game up for a SECOND time in the waning secs., I’m gonna be pissed.
How the fuck did we lose to Joe Flacco in the Super Bowl?
And they did. 6 TDs in the 4th Q and 6 lead changes as well.
Leslie Frazier can take the same bus with Shanahan to Dontletthedoorhityouonthewayoutsville.
Ask the Broncos, Dennis.
Worthlessburger sucks lol.
pitstain and worthless burger lose to Mia, hahahah
Unreal finish in the Balt/Minn game as well…
I stated the cold hard truth last week that Bowman > Willis. I don’t even think it’s that close now.
Bowman with the early statement . . . .
Well our Defense came to play. Let’s see if the Offense did too.
Or not!!
Yay. Gore off right tackle.
Too much adrenalin
Gore up the middle!
Fuuuuuck! FIRE ROMAN!
Just keep rocking Wilson at every opportunity.
Welcome to the Stick Wilson.
where is the damn flag?
Wow. They let that shit go?
Why the hell does Seattle get away with holding like that???
I hate the officiating these days. Hand checking gets called all the time, and hold a guy’s arm down while he tries to break his route is fine?
Lousy refs.
Yeah, plant Wilson at every turn.
I think they gave the future pres. of the U.S. a makeup call for that CAR game right there.
It comes when the territory…
*with* I never have a problem saying “when.” 😛
lucky, Rogers was beat for the second time today already
Yeah, and we only sent three. Doesn’t hurt to be lucky now and then.
Gore on first GD better make yardage this time!
early indications: OL giving KAP time to pass…
wow crabs catch
We got
The crabs
almost Kap
dammit.
What the fuck kind of call was that on 3rd and 1?
Did we fire Jim Harbaugh yet? Fuck Bo Schembechler Jr.
Going for the stupid tried and true run up the middle! That is th stupidest play there is in the red zone!!
Stupid fucking cocksucking call on 3rd down there. That was pathetic. What the fuck, Roman is a little snatch that hasn’t showered in a month
Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, knew what was coming on 3rd and 1.
We’re not here to fool anyone…
Especially with Miller. Good chance to fake that h/o and hit 85 in the flat.
Jesus, let the D be our cock and stick it Seahawk ass. Good plan except the cock has gone limp against good teams ready for the dry fuck
Someone get JT some cialis, quick.
or some lube.
Anthony Davis is regressing. He’s having another poor game this week.
Can’t get FGs in the Red Zone today. We need to get 7 when we have the chance.
Aaaaaaah, crap. The D is on. Well, they call shit on their WRs.
Ha! Officials keeping ‘hawks honest. There goes half their game.
D is bringin’ it hard today.
Big sack by Ray.
Old McDonald!!
Yeah, the Defense definitely came to play!!!
And Osgood with a huge play. Now we need to take advantage.
Okay the offense had better score here!!
A punt in the face,
Penalty call made no sense at all. I suspect the zebras fucked it up.
Did they allow the batting of the ball, 15 yards?
Yup.
Did roman not learn anything about trying to run in the red zone???
Doubt it. We may not even get there at this rate. Another time out blown because we can’t get our play in and run.
The pisser is we got the play off in time.
Fuck!!!!!!!!!!!
Fuck again.
Morherfucking Seahawk mouths
If the Niners don’t score here it it will show the ineptitude of Roman!!
Shit. Leaving points out there.
Yeah. Let’s hope that is not the difference later.
Your special teams gets you great field position and all you come away with is 3 lousy points??? Roman is an idiot!!
Niners O bent over and taking cum up there asses
You have an awfully homoerotic view of the universe, JT.
My neighbor’s mutt has a bigger vocabulary than you. Wittier, too, and he has self-respect, which you obviously don’t.
I can’t believe they let Sea bat the ball forward 15 yards. That’s not allowed..
I’m almost certain the refs screwed the pooch on that.
I don’t think they did. It was a flag.
That penalty would’ve negated the block by allowing a repunt. Big blown call.
The refs took a chicken wing splatter job in mouth on that one
Willis
I would expect the penalty to be enforced after change of possession – either from the spot of the foul, or where the ball went dead. It seemed like we either had to decline it or give Seattle another chance to punt, which is absurd.
Why oh why dont the Niners do more crossing routes
Awful. Gotta hit that little monkey
And there goes our lead!!!
Dorsey should have stayed home on that one.
poof! 11 yard run right through the middle of the D.
These cunts won’t win this game. Seacocks are just better. Niners are getting their clits pounded raw
And just like that, Seattle finds pay dirt and takes the lead.
But let’s still load the box with the FB lead on 3rd and 1 and hope for FGs.
Time to freshen my drink…
Pretty damned predictable.
denver mannings are losing to titans 21-10
I never wanted that bum to begin with. 😀
lol
LOL
but I have this 1-inch scar over the bridge of my nose/lt. eye that occurred the night when we were *this* close to signing him. I woke up the next morning wondering if we had drunk as a skunk, bleeding with a gash on my face. 0 fer 2 night. I’m down to my last strike. Just not on my face again. 😛
Someone please explain how when everyone and their mother knows the run is coming and the Niners can’t stop it, but when everyone and their mother knows when the Niners are running they get stopped cold???
power.
Time to get his ear
You like gladiator movies, dont’cha, JT?
1. Lynch is better than Frank at this point in their careers.
2. Our O-line is simply overrated.
Besides Dorsey crashed his gap and got pushed out of the play.
Ahhh, we got a 3rd down conversion. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand a timeout.
Finally a hold gets called on Sherman. After three years of mugging people, its about time.
ticky tack but he was due.
Oaky it is time to totally put the run to rest, go to no huddle, have one play called and stick to it!!
Run up the middle, run up the middle, what the fuck, this is just a fucking pathetic approach. ,
bullshit
DB never turned around. That’s face guarding and PI – zebras just won’t call it.
Never seen one, grump, bit apparently you have, hmmmm
PI bigtime
calls are so uneven.
Wow. mighta been ticky tack, but he did go to the facemask on that play
That one was obvious, the Sherman one was marginal.
Thus far my prediction for a Dr. Phil day at the ‘Stick is looking good.
Phil Dawson, successor to David Akers, today’s MVP, SF 49ers.
Yep
another short kick off from Dawson though.
FG again. This is too familiar. We are the Ravens
Yup. Have to score TD or lose.
BTW ‘forests are fine’ no probs w/ weather- partner is a crook tho
