The Refs are Back!!!

Big news. Slow news. But at least they aren’t fucking with this piece product for at least 7 years.

And in other news, the Giants are the worst team in the league right now. They traded Bailey for a tugboat, and I hope they trade more folks like Chappie, Devers, and Adames. It’s Aaron Rowand times 3. I simply cannot believe every hitter on this team minus Schmitty is sucking absolutely sweaty balls.

Over and over and over just no sitautional awareness and everyone swinging for the moon.

off hand .. does anyone know if we’ve won an extra innings game this year? It seems not.

  2. blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

I think senility will be a fairly smooth transition for Smith. Sheesh. Unfreakingbelievable.

  3. blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

Oh fuck. Smith being replaced by Borukifuckface.

  4. bassbaldy's avatar bassbaldy says:

    Oh no, Borfucki … I can’t watch

  5. Macdog's avatar Macdog says:

A scoreless inning by Borucki! Now they gotta win this.

  6. bassbaldy's avatar bassbaldy says:

DANG! Somebody cyber-pinch me! We are going to the bottom of the 11th and are not behind!?!?

    • blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

      good one bb. lqtm

Damn, hard to believe we didn’t score . . . Great fielding play by their 3rd baseman though. Tip of the cap to him.

If Koss actually got to play more than once a month he might be able to execute something…

  7. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

You fuck up the bunt ,take the bunt play off. Sheesh.

  8. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Tempting fate with another boruckin ininng/

  9. Macdog's avatar Macdog says:

    Sigh.

  10. Winder's avatar Winder says:

    got out of that one

  11. snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

Searching for another adjective for pathetic to describe Giants blowing that chance with winning run at third with one down…

  12. snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

Too much to ask Adames to make contact and put the ball in play two ABs in a row…

  13. Winder's avatar Winder says:

    NICE

  14. Macdog's avatar Macdog says:

    Whaddya know, they won!

  15. bassbaldy's avatar bassbaldy says:

Biggest Win of the year, IMHO. We sooooo needed that! Fuck Yeah! Go Giants.

  16. blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

Thank God for O’Hearn in right field. Game and Series Giants!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

And that’s why they traded Bailey, would have been an auto out with Bailey

    • blade3colorado's avatar blade3colorado says:

O’Hearn playing outstanding right field all series, where he made some unbelievable plays. However, the ball park has last laugh and wins out on that Chapman double, where he had glove on ball, but didn’t make the catch.

Agree Kev – Rodriguez suited up and showed up – he’s already made a great impression. Glad it came before the big LA series.

  18. snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

Wow, Giants almost refuse to take the win offered to them.

Is Ramos not actually awake and paying attention to the situation at hand and what he needs to do on the basepaths? Did Borg make sure to tell him what to do there before the pitch was thrown? My goodness, winning is so damn hard for this team.

This Rodriguez kid looks like the real deal.

Let’s take the series win and onto this foreboding roadie…

    • Macdog's avatar Macdog says:

I couldn’t believe the game wasn’t over when that ball landed fair, Ramos has to be halfway down on that play.

    • bassbaldy's avatar bassbaldy says:

yeah, Snarkk. I actually just caught myself going back to check the score again LOL! I’m so shell shocked from this abysmal season I’m trusting nothin’.

  19. snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

    Rodriguez with the walk off…

    Patrick who ?…

  20. Paul Sorensen's avatar Paul Sorensen says:

Nice win. The kind we used to always say “maybe this will be the one that gets them going”…..

Feeling a little wary that they still haven’t really “fixed” the outfield situation. Bader was supposed to do that but hasn’t, although maybe he’ll be better when he returns. I must say, despite the *energy* he brings, not a huge fan of Gilbert playing every day.

  21. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

What a weird ending. Ramos nearly slept his way into a force-out at home. Which would have been insanely awful.

O’Hearn wasn’t paying attention himself so there you go. Coulda sworn O’Hearn was drafted by us but no

    • bassbaldy's avatar bassbaldy says:

I thought it looked like O’Hearn lost it in the play of light & shadow in that tight little RF corner. At least, that’s how it came across to me on the broadcast.  As for Ramos .. oh, fuck me! I couldn’t believe what I was watching. Can you imagine … holy muthas .. Well, that’s one way to get your name burned into the anal canals of Gigantes history.

  22. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

It looked to me that a good throw would have nailed him. The ball bounced away and I couldnt see the end of the play

    • snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

Giants need to put Ramos for a full day together with Will Clark on a diamond so Will can teach him how to think and recognize and execute baserunning situations. Even given he’s grown up for nearly a decade in the Giants terrible player development system, it is still hard to understand how Ramos can be so clueless on so many fundamental aspects of baseball…

    • bassbaldy's avatar bassbaldy says:

yep, you could be correct Chuck. I too couldn’t see the end of the play after after the bounce.

  23. snarkk's avatar snarkk says:

    BTW, where is Harrison Bader?

How much is Buster paying this guy to stay wherever it is that he is “rehabbing”?

He apparently doesn’t have a “no trade” deal, but does have a “no play” deal…

  24. willedav's avatar willedav says:

Big 3 went 7-15 and Ramos smoked long HR.

Meanwhile in la la land, Braves light up Snell and take 2 of 3 from dogs, who are 9-12 over last 21. Ohtani is hitting .240, Teo H .202. Roberts said (in TA), “We’ve been in this funk for quite some time.”

  25. willedav's avatar willedav says:

Bader has played 6 games in Sac, 8-23 with 4 doubles. iirc he said something about WBC stint set him back and he didn’t have proper ST. I’m sure he’ll be back soon as will Susac who I think will rejoin Giants in Sac when they place A’s next weekend.

Getting Bader and Susac back in lineup can’t hurt, but bigger issue is Big 3 getting back to more near normal. Didn’t see much of yesterday but Adames had 3 hits (5-14 in series) and crucial rbi and Adames has begun to sting ball too. Devers also 5-14 2 doubles 2 HRs.

Super Bowl Win, Purdy Please
