Game 6 – Stairway to Cleveland

You don;t need a weatherman to see which way the wind blows, but it’ll be blowing a little bit tomorrow. 15 mph. The rain should hold off till later. So, yeah, we might not make our majic number of 30 points, but if we can just keep the turnovers down, qwe should be able to beat these guys. They are offensively challenged in a big way without Chubb and Watson, and we are gonna get some points.

Never been to Cleveland, I guess seeing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame would be kinda cool, even though they are like most other halls of fame, namely retarded. No Warren Zevon? Judas Priest? King Crimson? Nine Inch Nails? Iron Maiden? T-Rex? Devo? Soundgarden? Link Wray? Come on, man.

Anyhow, back to football. Cleveland’s only major advantage is, home field, and they are coming off the bye. Other than that, the Niners should be able to walk away with this one.

28-7 Niners.

Gonna get a rare 9er game on ‘free tv’ today.
Jets playing late for some reason here against Philly, both in the East – Rare.
    Giants playing SNF.
Both NY teams are likely to get stomped too.

We gotta take care of business today in Cleveland.
These are the type of games referred to as ‘Trap’ games.

  2. NJ49ER's avatar NJ49ER says:

Harbaugh’s old pal Jim Schwartz is the Browns DC now and, we know he lives to take cheap shots.
Stay healthy and get the W 😀

  3. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Colorado State, down 30-10 with 5 minutes left, scores 3 TDs to win 31-30.

C-State’s first win over Boise State.

Kittle takes one for the rivalry…

    Then again…
    Fuck Dallas anyway (& sideways)

  5. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Yeah, somewhere Gary Plummer is laughing. Loved it.

  6. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Listening to KNBR this morning, the NFL heard about the shirts, two boxes worth, John Madden and Pat Sommerall were in the locker and took one each, back to the front office they told Plummer he would be fined $50k if he wore it on the field, so Plummer when the game is over and he waits till he is in the dugout to lift up his jersey, so it was F Dallas and F the NFL, he wasn’t on the field but they still find him.

Only one set. Of downs, but for Cleveland to have a top D, it didn’t look good

  8. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

49ers and Browns fighting on the field pregame was entertaining as Trent Williams knocked the helmet off of a Browns player!

  9. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

    Playing to lose right now.

  10. Winder's avatar Winder says:

Cleveland came to play. Curious to see how we adjust after the half.

  11. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Purdy struggling a little, let’s see how he does in the second half. Good test for him

    • Winder's avatar Winder says:

agree, it’s also a good test for our coaching staff.

    • willedav's avatar willedav says:

Yeah he is. They’ve been in his grille and other times he’s been off usual accuracy, overthrowing guys. O line not opening up much either since first drive.

  12. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 says:

Damm refs fucked the 49ers on QB Walker clear fumble this game is ugly but that play was ridiculous and the 49ers could of gotten an easy score are FG atleast

  13. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

The D needs to step it up

  14. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Good job to not let them score after the INT

  15. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Pathetic. Shanahan has killed his offense today. Too many runs to CMC and Deebo also goes out on a run pay.

Stupid penalties, and Purdy looks terrible as the line is getting killed.

    Doing absolutely nothing right.

  16. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

This is becoming a struggle for the offense. Deebo, and Mccafery out, not good, but most teams have injuries. Kyle needs to show that he can coach without some players. Same with Purdy

  17. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Defense needs to create something. The O is nonexistent since the opening drive.

  18. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

First time playing from behind, an interception, truly a test for the offense.

  19. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Wow. Raising the white flag. When you go 1st and 25 every fucking drive, this is what happens. We fuck up every 1st down.

  20. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Kyle being conservative with two starters out, not good.

  21. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Can we not have a holding call on 1st down?

  22. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Kyle needs to trust the other players, Purdy just needs to relax

  23. Winder's avatar Winder says:

I can’t see the game, how bad are Deebo and CMC hurt?

  24. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

    WOw. Purdy missing again.

  25. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Lenoir having a hell of a season.

    Money play there. Gooooooooo defense.

  26. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

    Tackling has not been good

  27. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Defense has been on the field all game.

This game is gonna ruin our season with all these injuries.

  28. Irish Kevin's avatar Irish Kevin says:

Well we all knew that the injury bug was going to hit at some point in the season. Only the 6th game , still 11 games to go, plus the bye week

  29. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck says:

Damn. We needed that sack there.

Up to the offense to get a couple first downs.
